Happy Wednesday morning. First day of vacation! woohooo!
It's a bit chilly out but I think it's supposed to be really sunny later on. I think I'll start making my rounds to the Aunts to visit and bring their Christmas cards... will probably just do half today and the other half tomorrow. That way I still have time to do stuff at home.

It started out sunny but turned gray again. Maybe rain tonight and in the am tomorrow. Probably a good day to stay home and make stollen and cranberry bread. Nothing I need to buy now anyway.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 1°C and clear. We had a thunderstorm yesterday, NOT something we usually see in December. We also got a lot of rain and the ground is saturated and the sump pump is running steady. No snow in the forecast but that is OK - makes it easier to do the Christmas traveling.
Off to do some shopping and errands today. Have a great day all.

Good morning all. First day of Randy's 5 day weekend and he wasn't able to sleep late because of gas line work going on in the alley behind our house. Maybe tomorrow IF they get the concrete poured today.

We might have a wintry mix Friday night and you know that I will be up waiting for it and enjoying every second of it!!!

Good morning! We had rain all night, lots of it. With thunder and lightning. But, I slept through most of it. Everything is very wet out this morning. Good day for staying home.

Happy Thursday morning. It also rained here overnight... and still a slight drizzle right now. I love the site of that standing water. The sun acts like it wants to come out, but I'm kinda hoping for an entire rainy day. Plans are to go to the grocery store and then do some baking. But if the sun comes out, the baking might get put off.

Good morning all. 67* here, blue sky & sunshine. Sure doesn't feel like Christmas. We leave for Ohio tomorrow. Bet it will feel like Christmas there.

    May the happiness of family,
    the joys of friendship,
    and the warmth of love
    surround you all.
    "MERRY CHRISTMAS"

    See you next week,
    Donna

    Good morning everyone,

The mild weather for the time of the Winter Equinox has made outside activities inviting. Winter walks, checking the garden and visiting friends are a lot easier.

    Good morning everyone,

Its snowing, cold and blustery here......we had rain lastnight and it turned to snow overnight, so its nice and slippery out there!!

Good Friday morning all. Currently -5°C, windy and cold! We also had a dusting of snow overnight. One quick trip to the store today and then I won't have to leave the house until after Christmas :)
    Have a great day all!

Good morning all. 37 deg and overcast here, not supposed to get out of the 40's this afternoon and tomorrow.

AND...the wintry mix forecast for tonight has been put off until tomorrow night into Christmas morning. It won't amount to much but there might be snow flurries and I have a good imagination so I won't have any problems seeing a white Christmas :stew1: :stew2: :stew1: :stew2: Especially if I am looking at photo on the DVD box of the movie White Christmas while I am standing outside in the flurries.

Good morning everyone, a dusting of snow covered the lawn this morning. Not enough to check for reindeer tracks in a couple of days. :-( The sun will make it disappear in short order. Perhaps if I sprinkle flour on the roof......... :)

Happy Friday morning. We got 2 inches of rain yesterday and it rained a bit more this morning. Will have to venture and check the rain gauge in a bit. Still a bit foggy out. I was hoping for a sunny day so I could get outside. Today's big plans... take one of the aunts into town to do some shopping and still have one aunt left to visit. If the sun comes out, I want to add some compost to the newly expanded flower beds. If it stays "yucky"... I think I'll do some more baking.
