The Good Day All Thread

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -12°C and sunny. A few hours and we will start our Christmas festivities with our family. Merry Christmas everyone!

 

Good morning everyone, I hope everyone has their chimney cleaned out. Hmmmm., how does Santa stay so clean after going down so many chimneys? He will have to use the wheel option on his sleigh tonight as most of the country does not have a snow cover. All the air traffic controllers are ready to divert aircraft around Santa as he travels from town to town. I wonder which one of the unlucky elves is on popper scooper duty tonight? I will be sure to have cookies and milk out for Santa if he gets hungry.

Happy Christmas Eve! We had 1/8th inch of rain yesterday, more predicted for today, tonight and tomorrow morning. We really need the rain, but it sure would be nice to have a sunny day for Christmas. Temps are in the mid-upper 40s.
Good thing Santa goes from roof top to roof top... otherwise he and those reindeer would have to wear their galoshes when they got SE Texas!

 

It has rained, poured rain here all day today. Our road is a creek bed and our yard is a lake. Nothing is soaking into the ground. We've had a lot of rain these past two weeks. It says rain tomorrow and Monday so we may be grounded or maybe that's watered.
It's been in the 40's but so humid we've had the heaters going since I didn't bake today.

Good morning! It's cloudy and gray and maybe more rain. I need to go pick my salad for dinner before I have to go out in the rain to do it.
It poured rain all day yesterday and was still raining when we went to bed. It was raining at 5 am when Chance just had to go out, too.
Lots of good books and reading material under the tree this morning.

Merry Christmas to you all. Just checked the rain gauge and there was just a tad over an inch. Today is overcast and drizzly.
My darn truck battery died overnight... and wouldn't you know it, even Walmart is closed! Aaarrgghh! Waiting on one of my cousins to come over and see if his boat battery will work until I can replace it tomorrow.
In the meantime, everything is just about ready to eat!

 

Good Sunday evening all. It was an early day - my youngest was up about 7am! I made our turkey dinner early and now we are all content and relaxing. I'm sure I will be in bed early tonight. My daughter wants to go to the Mall tomorrow to spend her Christmas money

Good Monday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. Took the dog for her walk this morning and noticed that the driveway and road are a sheet of ice. We must have had freezing rain overnight. I don't think I want to drive to the mall with the roads like that! Besides, I'm sure the stores were picked clean on Christmas Eve

Happy Day After Christmas. Today is another overcast cool day. Got 1/8th of rain yesterday... or more like drizzle since it lasted all day... and more rain in the forecast for today.
I'm working up the nerve to go to Malmart to get a new battery for the truck. Other than that... nothing planned.... unless the sun comes out.

 

Good morning! We had a good day yesterday and I hope everyone else did too.
It's raining this morning. Five days in a row, rain, rain, rain, rain and still more rain. Yesterday and today it was just dribbles but it's still wet. Hopefully the party cloudy for tomorrow will bring a bit of sunshine.

It is cloudy and windy here today amd temp is low 40's. Forecast is for showers to snow showers to snow tonight, maybe. It usually goes just south of us. The tree came down today so I guess Christmas is over for another year. wannabe
