Make sure I have enough room in back of jeep to get bird seed. Been going through a lot. But I sure enjoy them. One gal price too high. Took down her feeders. I have to have some vices. Don't smoke or drink. :D

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently a chilly -18°C with sunny skies. We sure are on a weather roller coaster!
Hoping to take my daughter out driving today. She is going for her drivers test in just a week. Have a great day all :)

Happy Tuesday morning. Light frost this morning but it's sunny and should reach the lower 60s.
The beautiful weather has me itching to play in the garden... but our coldest weather (typically) hasn't even arrived yet. Patience Cheryl... patience! :stew2:

Good day everyone, for the most part 2012 is rolling along smoothly. The cool temperatures are making for an occasional s_ _ _ flurry and the birds now have ice skates on. Stay warm, throw another log on the fire.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -9°C and overcast. This temperature seems OK after yesterdays -20°! My internet was out for about 18 hours...it's amazing how dependent we all become on technology...my 3 kids and I didn't know what to do with ourselves! It's back up running again, and we are all happy :)

Happy Wednesday morning! Another beautiful day in-store. Highs might reach 70F. Still lots of sunshine. As soon as I get home I'll have to uncover the timid plants since there's no chance of freezing in the immediate forecast.

Good morning everyone, Today's big outside activity was taking out the trash. A single digit temperature of 8.2°F was recorded at 6:52 this morning. Brrrrrrrrr!!

Good afternoon all. The temp still hasn't reached 50 yet but I did get outside and do some cleaning up in the yards. Everything is really dry so I started to water then remembered I needed to find out which days I am allowed to water now. Tougher water use restrictions went into affect last month, because my address ends in an odd number I can only water plants on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so I was okay doing some watering.

I got a large humane trap from the city animal shelter yesterday and called them this morning pick up one of the stray cats making my yard their own personal litter box and 'lover's lane'
Pretty sure there are at least two more to get rid of.

Good morning everyone. Well, It's now 8:30 and 25 degrees outside, 72 degrees in the living room with the pellet stove, and 66 degrees in the greenhouse.

I will stay in 72 degrees for a little while and when the sun gets here a little more  I will go out to the greenhouse to plant some seeds and repot my new plants.

Hubby kept me very busy all day yesterday so I slept in this morning. He is a very good man. I love him.

Happy Thursday morning. A bit on the warm side this morning... mid-60s. Still lots of sunshine and I bet it'll be in the mid-70s in no time.
Finally got my new aquarium all set up. Now to turn my attention to turning the old 5 gallon one into a terrarium.
Guess I should find a place to put it first! :-D

Good day everyone, the weatherperson said warmer tomorrow, so today is cleaning and tomorrow is shopping. A seed catalog arrived yesterday, spring colors every page.
