Happy Wednesday morning. Was a bit cool this morning but is supposed to warm up to mid 60s... with nothing but sunshine. But we're expected 3 days of freezing/near freezing temps in a couple of days. Yep... cover the plants again. I think I need a greenhouse!

Good morning all. That blasted big ball of firey gas is back  It has used it's evil power to beat back the clouds and will prevail until at least next Monday.
We do have a couple nights with below 32 deg temps coming but it apparently will be a glancing blow at the freezing mark then head right back up to the 40-60 degree range the next day.

Good day everyone, our local sooth sayer of weather has predicted s_ _ _. Hopefully by morning her crystal ball will not be covered with the stuff.

Good morning all. I just went out to feed the birds 8:30 am and its warm out there. I didn't even need a jacket.
And yesterday I was out and about doing the shopping etc. and was saddened by all the dead animals along the highway. They should be hibernating. WHAT IS GOING ON with this weather?.

Morning all. Birdbaths are frozen around here, a front moved through last night with very high winds and much cooler temps. But alas, it is still sunny and our main water supply lake is still half empty.

La Nina is in place down along the upper west coast of South America and is causing the topsy-turvy weather patterns this year and all the snow the north got last year. There is some talk that she might disappear sometime in mid to late summer and weather just might get back to normal....at least until El Nino shows up

Happy Thursday morning! Windy and cooler out this morning and will get even colder as that front Toni mentioned gets here later on today. We're expecting freezing morning temps for the next 3 days. So... will be covering up plants when I get home this evening.

Good morning! Windy and colder than normal but no ice on the puddles. Can you believe we still have puddles from the rain on Monday? Everywhere we went yesterday there were puddles and water in the ditches. dr is washing clothes because the wind will dry them.

Good Friday morning all. Currently 0°C and overcast. Looks like rain but the temperature is dropping so I guess it will be snow. Taking the car in for a recall today...I hope I don't end up sitting there all day!
Have a great day all :)

friday, the 13th!......wind and snow....can't see out the windows......have to find a ride to the bank and then to get my car...in the shop for break lines.....just in time i would say....i don't think they would have lasted too much longer with the weather turning.......don't mind the snow....just wish the wind would die down a bit.......and if that is not enough....we could be in for 'lake effect' later today. hello winter......i know you had to come..but try not to stick around too long, ok?...lol

Happy Friday the 13th! Had a frosty start to the morning with temps down around 28F. But should be warming up to upper 50s. Same for the couple of days. No weekend plans, but it's nice enough I'll see about clearing some spaces for new flower beds.

Good morning all. Mid 20's overnight and the birdbaths are frozen solid. But winter doesn't last long again this time, steadily climbing temperatures will top out in the 70's by next Monday.

I have been keeping the city animal services busy these past few days. I borrowed a large trap from them and so far one of the officers has had to come pick up 4 cats that I have caught. Two black and white, one solid gray and yesterday it was a large tom cat. I know there is at least one more out there and if I don't catch it today I will have to renew the trap loan for another 10 days.
But my birds are happier and the yard is not smelling like a pee pit any more.

Our neighbors will probably just replace them and if so I will have to go for a longterm loan of the trap and maybe get my own personal animal control officer who calls everyday to see if I need them to stop by.

Good morning everyone, the first (I don't count the Oct. storm) winter storm has taken a northern route. :smt038 :smt038 leaving us with some rain and cold temperatures and a lot of wind. I was hoping to use the lawnmower next instead of the snowblower. I think old man winter sent a warning shot. So I fired up the snowblower just in case. I would rather be starting seeds.

Good morning all. Another nippy morning with frozen bird baths.

I caught cat #5 yesterday morning and have the trap for another 10 days. The big white one is still out there and no telling how many others since the cats have been breeding quite regularly.

Happy Saturday morning. Another frosty start to the day. But the sun's out bright now. If it warms up a bit more, I'll be out planning some new flowers beds.
