Good Saturday morning all. Currently a chilly -19°C and clear. Working on my mothers side of the family tree, I hit the jackpot when I found someone distantly related thru my great grandfather. The information found has been confirmed thru parish register records, but I still have one elusive relative that I can't tie into my tree just yet. And so the search continues today.
Have a great day all :)

Good morning everyone, I noticed some of the plants pulling the mulch over their heads this morning so it must be getting chillier. By tomorrow the rhododendrons will be curled up. We are headed for the single digits tonight. Too cold to snow. :)

Good morning everyone, the thermometer was scrapping bottom this morning as it reached 4°F. The chipmunks were throwing lots of acorn shells on the fire. The bird bath is expected to remain frozen today with a high of 29°F. Tonight will be warmer at 7°F.

Happy Sunday morning. A chilly start to the day with overnight temps nearly reaching 32F. But it's supposed to warm up nicely... might even get up to 70F. We have a 20% chance of rain, but I don't think that'll hamper my flower bed preparations.

Happy Monday morning. It's a mild one.... probably in the lower 60s. There's a 30% chance of rain today, so I need to finish any outdoor chores just in case.
I got two new beds cleared yesterday and replaced the edging around the two expanded ones. Divided up the Queens Tears to share and repotted a couple of things. Sure is fun playing in the dirt!

Good afternoon. I've been playing in the dirt also. And getting greenhouse ready to start seeds. I put heat in greenhouse this weekend and it seems to be working ok. It was 22* degrees outside last night and 44* in greenhouse all night. Hopefully I'm on the right track.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 2°C and foggy. It is warm out there and all the ice has a thin layer of water on top making for a treacherous dog walk this morning. Weatherman is calling for heavy rain this afternoon and then freezing temperatures tomorrow. I keep thinking that all these freeze/thaw's aren't good for my gardens...hope I don't loose too many plants.

Happy Tuesday morning. What a warm night - lower 70s. Almost had to turn on the AC. High temps are supposed to reach high 70s... only because there's a light drizzle keeping it "cool". More water from the sky! Yippee!!

Good morning! At 10 am it was already 71 degs. We had clouds and a 10 or 15 minute heavy rain around 7:30 am. The road is a creekbed again until it dries out. There are more puddles everywhere and it was still wet from last week. Tomorrow is sunny and 64 degs. We have to be at the first doctor at 10 am and the second one at 1;30 pm. Time for lunch and a stop at Sam's Club between.
