Good Monday morning all. Currently -5°C and overcast. We had about 20cm of snow fall quietly overnight so it finally feels like winter! Have a great day all :)

Happy Monday morning. Looks the weather is going to be a repeat of yesterday... except it's bit overcast right now. Nothing planned for the day. Maybe I'll go ahead and put down newspaper and mulch in the newly dug beds.

Good morning all. Another coolish warm day and the next three days should be in the low to mid 70's.

Doing nothing outside since we were gone all day yesterday I have indoor stuff to catch up on. But the upcoming warm afternoons will find me out back finishing the remake of paths and getting a couple of new planting spots ready.

I have been making list after list of things to do, change, re-do in both the front and back garden and if I am going to get any of it done before the summer hits then February had better be a very active month for me.

Good day everyone, a brisk day has us inside doing the last of the winter projects.....I wonder if the winter projects don't get finished, they become spring projects or we can wait till next winter. :)

I'm just curious what the Groundhog will have to say about this weather. 6 MORE weeks of winter a possibility? Heck, we ain't had any winter yet to speak of, a few cold days and a little snow in November.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -2°c and overcast. We got a bit more snow overnight, but that will be quick to melt. Our expected high today is +7°C !
    Have a great day all!

A drizzly start to the day. And I had no idea there was even a chance of rain today. We'll take it!

Good morning! It was drizzle and dripping when we got up but not it's a full blown rain coming down. I think I will sew. I've pulled out all sorts of material. Generally when it rains I pull out a book to read. But I do have stuff to sew for that writer's guild book sale. Will be in 70's today so it's not a cold rain. No snow either.

Good day everyone, A cool day outside, warm day inside, cleaning the basement was on the agenda. I keep checking for crocus, half expecting to see them two months early. No luck. I'll wait and see what the groundhog has to say.

    Good bye....

Just wanted to say a proper goodbye to the weirdest January in memory. Strange weather. Tomorrow of course is February Fool's Day, and after the celebrations I will start a few pepper plants, I hope. :-D

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 7°C and overcast. All that snow seems to have compacted and after the rain, is icy.
I had a sleepless night and my neck is sore this morning. I can't believe that January is over already!

Happy Wednesday morning. We got around 1/4 inch of rain yesterday. It seemed like it drizzled all night but there was just 1/8 inch in the gauge this morning. Pretty foggy commute to work but it's warm... almost 70. And there's a 30% chance of rain today... but mostly south of us towards the coast. And it's supposed to similar to this tomorrow.
Which is okay... but can I have sunshine over the weekend please? :stew2:

Good morning all. Must have been very foggy here earlier, everything is sopping wet...no rain just fog. Going into the 70's today through Friday then cooling down to normal Feb temps of 50's after that for a few days.

Not sure what I will end up doing today but there are several choices. I just looked at the list on the fridge and shuttered at how many choices there are.

Another unseasonably mild day.50-60 degrees in Jan. is a gift & nice to get in Feb. too.It is still foggy. Hope the sun comes out.
I should be dusting but I'd rather plan my seeds & cuttings.

Good morning everyone, rain has not dampened the enthusiasm for the additional light now flooding sections of our yard. I will, however, watch shade loving plants this spring, to make sure they are still protected. Four more days till the superbowl. :)
