mmmmmmmmm....cinnamon buns.......been thinking about making them too!....cloudy this morning also....this weather is so confusing....doesn't quite seem like winter with no snow...and to tease me even more...a local hardware store just advertised seed packets 5/$1!....well, no time like the present to start buying seeds for spring!

Happy Sunday morning. Cold front has come through. Our lows were in the lower 40s overnight and highs expected to be mid 60s. Cloudy with a slight chance of more rain... but the wind! Shivvvvvver! Wonder what I can find to do inside today?
Oh yeah... there's just over 3 inches of rain in the gauge.

Good afternoon all. We are high and dry again, none of the storms that barreled through north Texas last Friday had any rain they wanted to drop on my yard or much of Dallas county for that matter. Another chance later this week, I hope.

We do have a blustery, overcast day only 45 at 2 p.m. We have about 4 more nights of really comfortable sleeping weather then it will be back to turning on the AC in our room

Happy Monday morning. Another cool day ahead, but at least the sun is out. Yesterday was windy and cold... didn't even reach 60F. So I was stuck inside all day being bored. You know it's bad when you wish Monday would hurry up and get here so you can go to work just to keep from being bored! :D

Good morning everyone, a bright cool day with temps in the high 40's and none of the white stuff is always a plus as the ides of winter begins to fade into the distance. The garden shops are beginning to stock their shelves with good spring reminders. I should get a new tool just to look forward to trying it out as it gets warmer.

Good morning all. There was actually ice on the windshield this morning and we found the ice scraper!! Haven't used it in several years so I wasn't sure it would still be where I put it last but it was.

Had to take Randy's truck to the shop bright and early this morning...several things wrong with it, some will keep it from passing inspection in April and most importantly the AC went out late last summer. Gotta get that working again. Probably will be there most of the week, they will call later with an estimate of the cost....that's a phone call neither of us wants to take standing up.

Happy Tuesday morning. I think we're stuck in the lows in the 40s and high of 60 for the next few days. It was drizzling/misty a bit once I got to the office.
Had on the news last night that the Trinity River in Liberty (about 10 miles west of my house) will be flowing out of it's banks today. I think someone upstream opened a dam last week because it was quickly up to normal depth. And then with the rain from Saturday and the runoff... just a little bit too much water. There's a few neighborhoods down in the "bottoms" that may get flooded.
But they say it should all be receded by Thursday.

Good morning all. Mid-40's start to the day here high should be almost 60.

Animal Control is on the way to pick up cat #9 from the trap out back and I still haven't gotten the two white ones or the fluffy black one.

Good day everyone, the temperatures are tantalizingly warm but I don't want to start seeds too early. So I wait patiently for the seasonal equinox and the moon to be in the correct phase.......or something like that......I did buy some bargain seeds today.:)
