Happy Wednesday morning. Stuck in the same weather pattern, but with more sunshine today at least. I'm bored. Wish spring would hurry up and get here! :stew2:

Good day everyone, it is overcast with water trying to make up it's mind to freeze or stay a liquid. I vote for liquid. Garden planning for spring is well on its way. I'm hoping Punxsutawney Phil was wrong.

Some sun, some clouds, not very warm. I went out and dug in the dirt a little and moved some mulch from one place to another. Noticed two of the peach trees we planted last fall are getting tiny green leaves. I hope it's not too early. Disturbed some fire ant hills, hopefully that will take care of them. I have one more in the back but ran out of disturbing stuff. Another ho hum day.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -4°C and sunny. Beautiful full moon last night and a beautiful sunny day ahead. It sure is starting to feel like spring lately. Snow storm forecast for the weekend, so I'm going to get out and enjoy the day today. Have a great day all :)

Happy Thursday morning. Nothing new in the weather. Work is work. Nothing to do in the garden. But will be up-potting some seedlings over the weekend. Maybe I'll clear another area for a flower bed.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -2°C and overcast. Snow expected so I've already brought in firewood and picked up all the dog poop. Nows its time to nestle into my computer chair with a cuppa :)
    Have a great day all!

Happy Friday morning. Got one inch of rain overnight and it's still raining. And a bit cool too. Highs might get into the 60s. Yesterday after work, I stopped at a couple of nurseries looking for a flowering vine. They all said, as I expected... too early. Come back in a few weeks.

Good morning all. Started out at 45 this morning should be about 10 degrees warmer this afternoon then a cold front comes through dropping the over night temp down to about 25. Gotta bring in all the plants again.

There is a whoppin' 1/4 inch in my rain gauge this morning with maybe another 1/4 inch tonight but maybe not.

what a strange winter....still no snow (it's buffalo for pete's sake!)..pond hockey tournament is now a street hockey contest...harbour didn't freeze, and they had to bring a company in to make snow for the winterfest....how ironic!but we certainly are going to have temps in the teens for the next couple days, and they say back into the 30's during the week.....and by the way...i'm not missing the snow.....it's just very different from what we're used to.

Good day all! My seedlings have sprouted! I planted Butterfly Weed on th e3rd and Zinnias on the 7th, and theyve popped up already! :D Trying to rig up a grow light, but I cant seem to find a decently priced (under $20) light fixture. The one I bought today turned out to need to be direct wired which wont work, so back to the store it'll go *sigh*
