Good morning! Cold here this morning with rain showers predicted. It's my day off so I'm going up for the Christmas breakfast and then to get my driver's license renewed. After you hit 60 you get them renewed every 5 years. If you don't like brussel sprouts, you must not have grown any yourself. The ones in the supermarket are large and tough. Dooley

Good Friday morning all. Currently 2 deg C here and raining. It looks like we will have no snow for Christmas...first time ever for me. The weatherman says it will be mild and raining here Christmas Day. I could go out and do some weeding in my garden on Christmas LOL another first for me! We had to cut our grass the other day too! Wierd weather...
I like Brussel Sprouts but not enough to fight over them in the store! I'm the only one here who will eat them...the kids and hubby call them "frankenstein heads" and refuse to eat them!
    Have a great day all.

I did grow brussel sprouts once because I figured nothing could taste that bad. They were about the size of marbles when I cooked and ate a piece of one. I confirmed that something could indeed taste that bad.

Jan are you using Yahoo Mail? Because as of yesterday they started moving all notifications directly into the Spam/Bulk folder. Well done Yahoo :scheming: The worst thing is that is a bit out of my control.

No, Frank, no yahoo for me. I have a local server and own my domain name. I send email using Charter Broadband, a huge US cable TV, etc. service.

Hi all, it is indeed cooler here. Nothing on the agenda today. That is a good thing.

Good aftermorning all on this brisk 23rd December (2 days to go!). Things are in full swing now, food is becoming more abundant, so is the gnome brew and the fun. Our water went off yesterday so that wasn't much fun but it's back now again :)

    Current temps: 7 deg C / 45 deg F

Hope things are jumping around where you are. Have a sparkling Saturday!

Morning all. Nippy low 40's here today. All the winter weather the weatherman has been talking about for Sunday and Monday is now on a course from west of us to way south of us. We might get sprinkles....at least it is supposed to be nice and cool.

I finally finished the knitted project for Lisa, now I just hope it fits.
Baking day for me. I promised some chocolate pixies and snowball cookies for christmas day and Amanda wants some fudge....oh yeah, I sorta promised Randy some divinity too.
