Good Monday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. The winds are to get nasty later so I'd better get my outside chores done first today. The Bachelor is on tonight :) Have a great day all.

Happy Monday morning. Temps are in the lower 60s with a high in the low 70s expected. There's a slight drizzle now and a 20% chance of rain for the next 5 or so days. I should have gotten the mowing done yesterday. Maybe the rain will hold off until I get it done today.
A tree trimming service is out cutting trees out of the power lines. I can see them from here. Kinda fun to watch them work.

Good morning all. The day is starting out warm, already almost 60 degrees. It's nicely overcast but not a drop of rain is expected to fall from those clouds, we are to be dry for the whole week apparently.

Got two oldish chain link gates mounted over the weekend, time to put in a flower bed at their base and plant an assortment of Morning Glory seeds at the base. Next fall I want to put some Lathyrus odoratus (Sweet Pea) out there.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -6°C and overcast. It WAS sunny out when I went for my dog walk, but has since clouded over. We had high winds last night so I was glad to find no damage this morning. Spring cleaning starts today. Have a great day all :)

Happy Tuesday morning. Another foggy/misty commute to work. Our high should be in the mid70s. With all this humidity, it's sure going to feel muggy.

Kind of a cloudy, bone chilling day.I have plenty to do in the greenhouse but my bones won't tolerate cool & damp. So I guess we will go out to lunch.Won't have to worry about plants overheating today, although just let me get 10 miles down the road & the sun comes out.

Good morning everyone, the weather-people have scheduled a session of 'poor man's fertilizer' for the Northeast. Just in time to squelch the rumors of a mild winter. Now I will have to review the instructions for operating my snow shovel to make sure I remember how to use it.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -3°c and overcast. There is a freezing rain warning in effect so I am glad I don't have to go anywhere today. Spring cleaning didn't start yesterday ... but all my seed boxes got sorted :)
    Have a great day all!

Happy Wednesday and Leap Day! And yet another foggy/misty start to the day. The highs might reach 80F.
Wish it would rain now and be sunny for the weekend.

Good morning all. Just back from a plant shopping trip, I don't usually buy very many annuals but I HAD to get some color in the wheelbarrows out back!!! I have been trying to get that garden back close to what it was a few years ago and if I don't see some color out there soon I may plow the whole area under

Cheryl, what a different a drive of 4 hours 30 minutes makes, it is clean and brightly sunny here. Not rain in almost a two weeks. :'(

Afternoon all! A beautiful 66ºF here, blue skies and sunny! Makes me wanna get out in the garden! Buuuut...that would mean getting dressed, poopping over to the house for 2 hours, then coming back and going to work...nah, think Ill just stay home til work time *lol*
Poor bf worked all night up in Chicago, and he's only getting 2 hours of sleep before he has to go clean a clients carpets (he has 2 jobs). The new job means a lot more money, but is it worth the loss of sleep?

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -2°C and snowing. It is a snow day for my kids today because of the freezing rain that coated the roads with ice. The plows and sanders are out now so I hope to get out to do some errands and shopping today.
Have a great day all :D
