Happy Thursday morning. We'll be reaching the 80s again today. They say there's a slight chance of rain... but then they've been saying that all week. I'm going to get out the water hose and give everyone a good drink when I get home.

Good day everyone, it will be an interesting winter if we could have 'bookend' snowstorms. One in October to start the season and one in March to end the season. The birds were out there early this morning shoveling off the feeder. I could not get them to do the driveway. :-(

P.S. Is anyone having roast groundhog? I wonder if it tastes like chicken? :)

The flavor is more akin to beef with a dash of pork. Young ground hog on a spit over wood coals makes for a decent enough meal. Another fine day here, windy, cool. Rain tomorrow, again. I've got outside things to do....we can't be having all this rain on the weekends!

Good afternoon! No sun here today but no rain yet either. Just some fog and misty stuff that mucks up the windshield on the truck but not enough to run the wipers full time or much at all. Warm enough though. We cut some wood and got all heated up. Taking a break with a large glass of iced tea now.

Just getting day light. So far no snow. But might have freezing rain later. Get work done and get back home. Glad got everything ready in case lights go out. Hope not. Run generator on (cheap) gas.Got plenty of flash lights.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast again. Wonder what happened to the sunshine lately?
Although we have snow again, the Robin's were singing up a storm this morning. I love to hear the birds in the morning! I'm off to the school today so see my daughter get an award. Have a great day all!

Happy Friday morning. No fog this morning! Yippee! Temps will be in the mid 80s again. But it will be much cooler over the weekend.. might reach the lower 70s. Perfect time to play in the dirt!

Good morning everyone, six inches of mild weather has accumulated on the flower bed, the flowers that elected to remain below ground are the smart ones now. The chipmunks have rolled over and will sleep for another three weeks. The Rudbeckia is lamenting volunteering for the mild winter experiment. Tomorrow it may hit 50 :)

Good afternoon. It started out cloudy this morning but now it's bright sun and 80's. Did some work outside this morning and early afternoon. Now, I'm headed back outside to clean up my mess.

Good morning all. A little chilly yet to be outside but this afternoon will be good gardening weather.
One of my plant orders arrived yesterday and another one will get here today when the mailman brings it. And I found some Kew Red Lavender and Oregano Hot and Spicy plants at Whole Foods Market yesterday. And some ferns and ice plant from Cheryl. So I have many things to be planting this weekend.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 2°C with gale force winds. The storm that was to hit during the night waited until early morning for which I am thankful. No damage in my yard yet, but my compost lid is out in the neighbors paddock. I hope it doesn't blow much longer ... the house is creaking!
No plans today. Have a great day all :)

Good day everyone, with the temps in the high 40's the snow will not be around long. The flowers can use the extra shot of moisture. They're under there somewhere.

Happy Saturday night. We had a cool and breezy start to the day but it ended up nice... from what I could tell from the inside of the truck. Hubby had a job to tear down an out building and the lumber was in excellent condition. He wanted to bring it up to his property in East Texas and use up there. Well.... long story short... we left home this morning at 7:30 and I'm finally made it home at 9:30PM. I refuse to get in that truck tomorrow! My day will be spent all alone out in my garden. Supposed to be a nice day too... no wind, no rain, lots of sunshine and a high of 72.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -10°C and sunny. Yesterdays winds have finally subsided and I am happy to report no damage in my yard. I do have some of my neighbors roof and some of his garbage in my yard though! Laundry today ... oh my exciting life. Have a great day all!
