Good morning all. 68F/20C degrees this morning and 88% humidity level...blech!!! So far all the rain is in Oklahoma but the cool front should push through sometime around noon bringing our rain with it. Maybe some hail and 40 -60 mph winds too

Good morning! No rain here yet. It rained enough to get things wet last night but no big storm. Our electric was out from 7pm to ll pm last night. I haven't figured out why yet. It's gray and cloudy and a bit breezy this morning. Just a few sprinkles of rain so far. weather.com says rain should move in about l pm.

Spring has emerged, the daffs are up. The temps reached the mid 70's, first time this year.

Good morning all. Woke to a warm gentle rain. The kind that turns everything green over night. It even smells like spring. Good day to go shopping.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -4°C and sunny. The birds are singing...what a wonderful morning! Today the kids start their March break. I'm going to put them to work stacking firewood :)

Good day everyone, yesterday's experiment with a high temperature of 74°F was a teaser as today the temp can't reach 50. More flowers have emerged and it looks like spring is here. :)

Happy Friday evening. It's been rainy all day and a bit cool. Temps didn't reach 60F. And there's a 1/2 inch of the wet stuff in my rain gauge. Everything sure needed a good drink. And there's even more on the way tonight and tomorrow.

Good evening! It rained all night and all day today with a few brief breaks. I figure we got close to two inches. One of these days I'll buy a rain guage.
The road is a muddy mess but we went up and down it today. The mailbox is at the top of the hill. I need to go look at the weather and see what tonight's temp is supposed to be. Right now everything is standing tall.

Good evening all. Lots of errands to run today so I wasn't home much but sitting with my feet up, a glass of wine while reading a new magazine is the plan for the evening.
We got a whopping 1/10 inch of rain yesterday and none today, everything was to our .... wait for it....south and east again!
Supposed to be a different story tomorrow and into Sunday....either totally dry or 2-3 inches of rain

Toni... I feel like a rain hog again. I'll gladly send you our Sunday-rain in exchange for at least 1/2 day of dry weather this weekend.
    Deal?

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -13°C and sunny. I had just put away the last of the woodpile when the weather turned on us...snow squalls and strong winds. We have a few shingles off of our shed roof, but that is easy enough to fix. Dramatic rescue on Lake Simcoe yesterday when the high winds broke up the ice and left fishermen stranded on ice floes. No one was hurt. Have a great day all :)

Good Morning All. Today the greenhouse is getting the plastic. No wind! hooray! Cold start to the morning (17*f overnight), but the sunshine makes it so much more tolerable. It just doesn't seem so cold.

Happy Saturday morning. It's about 50F now and drizzling. We got another inch of rain overnight and expected to rain all day AND tomorrow. Toni, ready to switch weather for a day?
I thought I'd get a chance to get a couple of things in the ground this morning. Oh well.
One of my cousins from Minnesota is here visiting (will be only the 2nd time I've met him). So another cousin is having a big lunch for them. I made my potato salad last night. So now, I guess I could do some house cleaning until it's time to go eat and visit.
