Good Morning all! It is 39, windy and chilly here today. I have a turkey in the oven for pick me up meals until Christmas and then I suppose I should try to make a few cookies. Have a good day. Wannabe

Good Saturday afternoon all. Another dreary day here above the freezing point. The kids are getting very excited!

68°F at quarter past 1, and still damp and overcast following a drizzly morning.
I've got lots of indoor neatening to do, but I'd like for things to dry off outdoors
so that I can freshen up the covered porch,
the smokers will need it as our forecast calls for rain again on Christmas day.

Not doing any special holiday baking this year,
just going to serve a warm cherry cobbler with cognac and coffee for desert.

    :D :D :D

Good aftermorning folks on this chilly but dry Xmas Eve. Really enjoying the relaxing time at home, makes me realise how much I have been working all year. Off now to have a big pot of farm tea!

    Current temps: 6 deg C / 43 deg F

Get wrapping those presents. Have a great Xmas Eve!

'Tis a foggy morning, but comfortable at 64°F.
I've brought out all the paper and ribbons,
"wrapping central" is about to open for business. [IMG]

:smt114 We'll keep the porch light on, Richard,
you and Sharon, and all of my new friends here in Stewville
would be most welcome, and honored guests.

Oh, here's a little something I promised a couple of weeks back,
our neighbors have added Santa to their display.

Good morning all. It's warm in these parts, way too warm and rain's coming. We did go to the marsh yesterday, but the light was wrong, so not one pic was snapped.
We still have no oven, so Donna is making gumbo for tomorrow. For vegan me, I'll add some special veggies to my brown rice. And I know there will be an apple pie just for me by her son. Daughter in law is a chef at a fawncy restaurant, so she does NOT cook unless she is working.

Morning all, hope everyone plans on getting some 'pre-holiday mad rush' relaxing in today.

All our shopping and wrapping is done. Got cookies baked yesterday, made my self sick testing each batch as it came out of the oven....had to make sure they were just right dontchaknow :-D

Slept in this morning, we are going out to lunch in a while, then maybe sit for a while at Dunn Brothers coffee shop and just talk, then at 5 we are going to the IMAX theater to see Night at the Museum.

Good Sunday Morning all. Currently sitting at 5 deg C and sunny here. I'm busy getting the kids all "bathed up" to put on their best to go to Oma and Opa's house later. They are all wound right up!
    Have a wonderful day all!

Good Morning and Merry Christmas to all! It is 31 here and the weatherman says rain this morning and snow showers this afternoon. My ham is in the oven, the coffee is made and everyone else is still in bed. Wannabe

Good morning all. Merry Christmas everyone. The gumbo is made (duck and sausage), every pot and pan in the kitchen was used. Cloudy and windy here. I smell rain coming.

Morning all. 40 this morning and the wind is picking up, supposed to be a Winnie the Pooh kind of day....Blustery.
The rain ended sometime late last night leaving about 3/4 of an inch in the really large rain gauge out back.

Rambo is feeling frisky, he just came in from his morning rounds of the backyard. He got the usual rainy day rub down and paw cleaning before being let back in and that plus the cooler weather winds him up for a couple of minutes, but he is about 10 yrs old so he winds back down pretty quickly.

We will be packing up for Lisa's in a few minutes.
Hope everyone has a fun filled Christmas day.

Good morning! The sun is shining and it's only a little cold. Fire is going and tea is about half gone. Stollen was good. Waiting for Dan so we can open presents. He's been sick so isn't moving too fast. Dooley
