Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 8°C and cloudy. We had rain overnight and there are huge puddles everywhere, but todays weather is going to be beautiful! I think I'm going to attempt to clean and organize my garden shed today. And maybe get some raking done. Have a great day all!

Good evening! It was foggy this morning but the sun came out before lunch. I worked in the small bed next to the back deck. I didn't use it last year so it was full of weeds. I'm going to put herbs in it but maybe start them in pots. I have rosemary there that's doing well.
I hoed yucky grass and weeds in the front this afternoon. Chance always helps. She gets covered with weeds. She just shakes them off.

Happy Tuesday evening. Another foggy commute to work this morning. Plus temps got up to the lower 80s. And there was about 1/16th of an inch of rain the gauge when I returned home. I just couldn't stand the site of the tall grass/weeds. And it's still too wet to attempt using the riding mower. So, instead of my usual 30-45 minute walk around the property... I got out the push mower and tackled my garden area, the front yard and a little bit of the "empty lot". It took about one-and-a-half hours.
Tomorrow, weather permitting, I'll get the back yard mowed. And so forth.
Figured, if I'm just walking in circles... might as well push the mower around at the same time!

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 2°C and sunny. Today's expected high is 17°C so I am going to spend the day outside. More raking to do, and maybe put out some garden ornaments :) Have a great day all!

Starting to put out some of my Garden art things. Jerry picked up his new pickup. Son and him took boat in to get tuned up. Ready to have some fun. Measured this room for new floor. But not a lot of house projects this year.Paint the fence. But that will be easy.

Good day everyone, it rained early this morning so the leaves extracted from the flowerbeds remain in soggy piles. Removal to the compost pile will take place when it gets warmer and everything dries out. The weatherperson is spreading rumors about possible 80°F later in the week. :)

Happy Thursday morning. A few sprinkles on the windshield this morning, but now it's drizzling out. They're not calling for much rain, but there's a 20-30% chance for the next few days and our high temps will be hovering in the low 80s. The ground is still a little too wet to get out the riding mower (I'm afraid it would tear up the grass and/or make ruts), so I've been using the push mower. I'm about halfway done. Definitely getting my exercise!

Good morning all. Almost clear skies here, a few gorgeously white clouds scattered around but they are not rain clouds  I guess our best chance for more rain is late next week.

Waiting on youngest grandson to be dropped off for a few days. His brother is a volunteer junior camp counselor at the Dallas Zoo this week, we pick him up at the DART station this evening, take him back in the morning, pick him up tomorrow evening then have them through Saturday.
