Happy Sunday afternoon. Whew! What a hot one! My thermometer (in the shade) is showing 88F. Beautiful day though not a cloud in the sky. Glad I got an early start and put a few seedlings in the ground and transplanted some stuff. Gave all the plants in containers some MiracleGro. I mowed my garden area, but it's too hot to the edging... or anything else for that matter right now!
So, I'm indoors cooling off before going out and cleaning out the bbq grill. With these temps... wonder if I even need charcoal? :D

Good evening all. Went to breakfast, the grocery store then oldest daughter and two grandson's came to spend the afternoon.
Don't know what the high temp was, probably in the mid-upper 80's because it is a little after 7 pm and it's still 82 degrees.

It was hot here today, too. I finished digging the small bed but I had to stop three times to rest and dry off. I need to go check the weather for tomorrow. Still have things to do outside but the day is done for now.

Good day everyone, wow it's Sunday already? What happened to the week? O.K. we have to start over..... this time I will try to pay attention....Tomorrow will be Monday and we will have to do Monday things, whatever that means.....It's cold and cloudy and the seeds don't care to do anything but mumble :-( I suppose I should not complain, last year there was still a foot of snow on the ground. This year the crocus and daffodils are up and flowering along with the rhubarb pie plants :)

Good Monday morning all. Currently 1°C, windy and overcast. It figures that the nice weather would stop when I went back to work! It's going to be a long day outside today. Have a great day all!

Happy midday Monday. Whew... got all the mowing done. But too hot to do the edging (82F in the shade). Or am I just using that as an excuse?
I've got the water hoses out giving the fruit trees a good soaking. That will probably be the extent of my duties, at least until it cools off.

Good day everyone, the temps stayed in the lower 40's, high winds kept everyone inside today. Tonight the threat of a frost has fruit tree growers concerned with blossoms that opened in last weeks 80° temperatures.

Chilly day here also. Calling for mid 30's at night. Had to move everything into greenhouse last night and for the next few nights.

Good morning all. No chance of cool weather here until at least November. I bought 5 Bee Balm plants last night so I guess I will get them in the ground before the sun hits the west side of the house for the day.

Good day everyone, the birds put on their ice skates as the birdbath froze overnight, a frosty 22°F had the spring arrivals wondering if their travel agent had their accommodations correct. Tonight's temps while not below 32° will have them bunched up to keep warm.

Well, well. Here it is Tuesday already. I played hooky from work yesterday. Put 20 asparagus crowns in, and planted five pounds of seed potato's. Cut grass, killed the push mower, bought new push mower. Onions will have to go in this weekend. Winter onions are ready to harvest.

Happy Tuesday evening. Another gorgeous day here. Temps from 60-85F. After work, I gave everything a little drink. Think I'll give them some food this weekend.

Good day everyone, spring is taking form as the flowers continue to emerge. With temps in the mid 50's they will continue to rise till early next week.

Happy Wednesday night. There was a few heavy patches of fog this morning for my commute to work. A pretty good day at the office and even had a surprise little rain! Nothing measurable... just enough to know that it rained. Our temps are still in the 65 to 85 range. I'm so tempted to turn on the AC right now! Come on fan... get this air moving!
