Happy Monday morning. Raining here at the office right now, but it's not expected to last long. The "real" rain chances are for tomorrow and here's hoping it makes it to my house.
The almost 90F temps are drying things out quickly.

Good day everyone, the temperatures are inviting outside activities. Today I am planing how to redo some old flowerbeds. More sunlight will mean different plants. Mushrooms move over.

Good morning all. Looks like I am going to have a pretty day to play in the garden. As soon as I get inside chores done I am out the door. Or maybe before:)

Happy Tuesday morning. Overcast this morning and rain expected later on. Wasn't expecting much rain yesterday, but we got 1.25 inches! I noticed the Trinity River was almost out of it's banks this morning. Another inch of rain and it might just flood in the usual places.

Good day everyone, the outside flowerbeds are getting their spring cleaning and plants are popping up all over. :) The rhubarb pie is doing great.

Good afternoon! It was really foggy this morning after the storm last night. Only about quarter of an inch of rain but lots of thunder and lightning.
It cleared up by 10 am so we went and ran some errands and went to Huntsville to Home Depot but didn't buy what we wanted because it looked like something the cat would have dragged in.
Sunny and warm out now. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to do some more things outside. I did get a new shovel.

Happy Wednesday night. I've been training a new guy at work and seems my whole routine is out of whack! Why can't new people just show up knowing everything? :D
And then, my dear 95 year old... I mean "almost" 95 year old... aunt needed to do her last bit of Easter preparations. Which meant taking her to the bank, pharmacy and "that" big store. So, I finally make it home a bit after 7pm. I only had enough time to make a quick check on the plants. Even the dawg is giving me the evil eye because we didn't play fetch today.
Oh well... I have a 3-and-half-day-weekend coming up... plenty of time to play outside.

Good morning all. After the storms of the other afternoon, the temperatures have been down to more seasonal...70's for a high instead of almost 90. And the mornings are great, just enough nip in the air to give bare legs goosebumps. No complaints here, we are all going to be wishing for a return of this weather in a very few weeks when being outside becomes unbearable.

Yesterday our black clay was too goopy to plant in but it seems to be just fine today and I have bought plants and seedlings I started to get planted.
