Happy Thursday morning. Overcast this morning and ran into a few little sprinkles on my commute. Our temps still remain in the 65-85 range.

Good day everyone, the temps were in the 50's so gardening was a mix of buying and building. We bought a new riding mower as the old one was on its last leg(wheel?) . I built a trellis for whatever we want to grow up it, have not decided. Anyway it will not fall apart like the last one because I made it. The old one(garden center) had staples(not designed to last).

Good morning everyone, temperature records exist at their own peril as the weather people have predicted a warming trend and Monday may see runners of the 116th Boston Marathon run in record high conditions of near 90°F. Gardening today, however, will be under a sunny sky with temps in the 70's. :)

Good morning all. Today is starting out warm (73deg) and overcast. Tomorrow is to be our stormy day, very high winds later today and through Sunday. Heavy rain and hail tomorrow since the storms will be arriving at the warmer part of the day.

I just got the Cucumber and Cotton seedlings in the ground and have plans on how to protect them from hail damage. Not much I can do about the rest of the garden except be sure to bring in the cookie jar decorations and the glass totem.
I believe it was the Celts who believed that each parcel of land had it's own protector Dragon, maybe mine will keep the garden safe for me ;)

Happy Saturday evening. It was a very pleasant breezy day today. Okay... at some times it was just down right windy! But it made for pleasant gardening. I managed to get the flower beds along my fence weeded, planted, mulched and watered (just in case the rains don't come). One of my co-workers got a few of us podometers. According to latest "reports", everyone is supposed to at least take 10,000 steps a day. I'm at 14,000 and this was a "easy day". Plus I didn't get a chance to do my usual 2-mile-a-day walk around the property. :stew2:

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 12°c and overcast. I am still waiting for some rain. Housework yesterday and so that means some garden work today. I need to pot up some Canna's, Dahlia's and Elephant Ear today. I've procrastinated long enough! Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday to all. Today I hope to re-do a tote that was splitting and cracking anyway from sun exposure all last summer, then this year it was the only one to get the major frost on it. Lost a new to me tomato plant "Aussie", supposed to be a big slicer. I have a back-up plant since I started them all from seed. Hopefully it will catch up in a few weeks. I feel lucky to have lost so little to the frost. Of course I wouldn't have lost anything if I'd waited til the normal plant-out date, April 15. Warm weather all thru March fooled me, yes me!

Good morning! It's cloudy and windy. Severe storms predicted for afternoon and evening. Rain is okay, wind is acceptable but hail in not. We bought the last of the azeleas when we stopped at the store yesterday. It's too windy to plant them today though. I still have about ten 4paks of flowers to plant, too. Guess I should have stayed home more during the week and got a few more things done outside.

Happy Sunday morning. The winds are bit stronger today and is blowing in lots of clouds. We're not expecting to get nasty weather like the northern part of the state... and we certainly could use the rain (hasn't been any all month). I still having weeding to do in the succulent garden and the front flower beds. Other than that, I'm pretty much caught up on the gardening. I was thinking of going over to the my brother's to see all the new flowers they've added... but with the bad weather coming, maybe I'll just stay home and do some house-cleaning.
