Good morning to all, it's another glorious day here in So. ME. Currently 59F and sunny. I think there is rain coming over the weekend, which will be welcomed. It's been way to dry here. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Enjoy!

Good morning, well almost morning! It's cloudy and gray here so who can tell. It's cool and it's supposed to start raining here by 2 pm according to the weather.com. But the radar shows the rain either going to Northwest of us or going to the southeast of us. No green clouds around us.

Happy Friday night. It started raining at the office around 3:30 this afternoon. When I got home around 5:30, it had, and was still raining here. And from stuff blown over in the yard, we got some pretty good winds. Nothing serious... just stuff blown over. And it's still raining slightly. But the temps.... so nice! In the lower 60s or even maybe the upper 50s. Sure feels good in the house with the breeze coming through the windows.

Good day everyone, the day was spent cleaning out part of the toolshed and repairing screens on the deck. A pleasant day in the upper 70's to low 80's allowed for fast drying of paint as the wife painted a cellar entry door. The flowers are waiting for the Sunday evening into Monday rain prediction.

Happy Saturday morning. I went out to check the rain gauge this morning (there was 1 inch in there) and then noticed the "damage" from yesterday's winds. A part of the "boathouse" birdhouse was blown off (non important part... a decoration). My pelican statue was in pieces on the ground. A plant landed in the water lily container. Another was on it's side. And the supports for the Kiowa Blackberries are all leaning to one side... almost on the ground. That's going to be a "sticky job" redoing those... especially since it is full of young berries. And I don't think it will get done today unless these winds die down.
It's also about 55F right now and expected to get in the lower 70s. But it's still overcast.
Our lows might even get into the mid40s tonight!! Where's my blanket??

Good morning all. Haven't had a night like last night in weeks, down into the mid-40's and great sleeping with the fan in the window weather.
We are still rainless up here, the 'storm' on Friday left a whopping 1/10th of an inch, not even enough to wet the full layer of mulch on the plants. but it did cool us down to normal Spring temps for a couple of days.

I have plants to get in the ground when it warms up just a little outside.

Good morning all...a beautiful day here in So. ME. Temps at 60F and expected to be low 70's today. No rain for today but they say tonight and into tomorrow. Please! Sounds like we aren't the only ones who are dry.

Cheryl, so sorry to hear of your damage. I hope you can put things back together.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently just 1°C and sunny. I hope it warms up enough to allow me to play in my gardens today! The weeds (and branched coneflowers!) are getting ahead of me. Have a great day all :)

Happy Earth day my fellow stewbies. Finally got some rain here in So. ME last night. Been lightly raining off and on so far today. Hopefully we'll get a good down pour. Current temp is 46F and it's feeling damp but I'm not complaining. Hope everyone has a great day.

Installed a new storm door on the rear of the house. Built in doggie door. What a PITA!! Missus FBG is grumpy as all get out too! Dadgum dog doesn't want to use the doggie door.

Good day everyone, the rain is here, the rain is here, the dust storms have stopped sweeping across the lawn. The first chipmunk of the year has created a large sandpile outside his entryway. By now he has excavated a living room, bedroom and a kitchen with pantry. The rain, 1/2 inch so far, will help the rhubarb pie to grow. I can taste it now.

Happy Sunday evening. Had a fun day. Went over to my brother's to see their new gardening efforts. Everything looks really good. They are having so much fun... but it was funny. "Leave the plant alone... it's mine!" "No.. that's mine. Your's is over there"! I told them that I didn't want to hear about them getting a divorce over a plant! :D
Then my sis-in-law and I go to her daughter's house so I can see her gardening efforts. She is so thrilled about her little garden areas. One is just for her "edibles"... a tomato plant, a pepper, a bell pepper and a cucumber. She's even named them. She has lots of plans... I just know her yard will be cute.
I'm so happy they're getting into gardening... now I know what to buy them on special occasions!
Then we went out to eat. It took forever for my food to be served so they gave it to me for free!
Can't beat a day of family, flowers and free food!
