Good Monday morning. Currently 4°C and overcast. We are waiting for a storm to hit ... the possibility of snow accumulation! UGH! High winds are expected as well.
    Have a great day all.

Hello all, currently welcoming great rain here in So. ME. Temp is 43F so there's a chill in the air. It's supposed to rain for the next few days which we need, I just hope the sump pump can keep up. The little stream next to the house that was just about dry a couple days ago is flowing. Yeah! I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good afternoon all. Surprisingly it is still in the upper 60's here and I am enjoying the heck out of it. By Thursday the temp will be hovering just under the 90 degree mark. UUUUGGGGHHH!!!

I would say you can send that snow storm down this way but I have so much in bloom that I changed my mind. But I certainly would like some of the moisture if you have any left over.

Happy Monday evening. If there was ever a "perfect" day... today was it. Nothing but blue skies... slight breeze... and temps "might" have reached the lower 80s.
I did take note of the changing sun patterns and moved a few planted-up containers around. I stayed busy all day... but didn't really do much. And oh yeah... I think I convinced my sis-in-law to join up! :-D

It was beautiful today and yesterday, too. I got a lot done outside. I got the roses all done but feeding them. I pulled all the weeds and watered everything. Today I cleaned my sewing/computer room and tried moving things around to fit in another shelf that had to leave the living room. The shelf is now in here but a small table left and is sitting in the middle of the living room. Maybe we can use it for a coffee table.

Good day everyone, after weeks of no rain, the past two days provided 3 inches of rain. The plants are ready to take off. I have know clue what I'm doing but my tomato seeds have germinated. After a field of corn and a paddy of rice, tomatoes should be a piece of cake! :) I think I hear a few hundred tomato growers snicker....

Jerry, I had a tomato jungle last year. I have a tomato jungle most years because I don't bother to stake them and let them grow any which way. I do put down black plastic and cut holes in it and plant the tomatoes in the holes. This way I don't have to look for weeds to pull in that jungle of tomatoes.

Good morning All. I hope today isn't as windy as yesterday!!! I am sure there will be a few chainsaws going today.
No rain or snow, though. The waves on Lake Erie were incredible from the wind. Glad I only saw pictures and wasn't close enough to feel them. Hope you all have a great day.

Happy Tuesday all. Current temps in So. ME are 50F with a chilly wind blowing. Rained all day yesterday which we needed and thought we'd be getting more the next few days, but the sun is currently out and it's not looking like rain. Guess only time will tell. Hope everyone has a fantastic Tuesday.

Good day everyone, While chilly and windy, the days are heading in the right direction. Most unusual outside yard work occupies part of the day, a veggie garden. I never had one before. This should be interesting. Since my two neighbors to the south cut down several trees, I have more sun but do I have enough?
