Good Thursday morning one and all. :-D

Milder today with rain and very dark. I noticed this morning that my passionflower has a bud on it already!! I hope we don't get a severe cold snap now that my plants seem to think spring has already arrived.

Have a good day whatever you're doing. :D

Good morning all. I am off in a few minutes to take Ursula into the city to get her teeth cleaned. She is wondering why she is not having her usual breakfast, so is whining and poking. What a grand 30 miles car trip this will be listening to her.

Good aftermorning on this slightly windy and damp 28th December. The Xmas festivities are basically over but New Year celebrations are starting to heat up now (as well as the temperature it seems). I always like this time of year purely for the opportunity to reflect on the year gone by. In my mind I like to tag each year with a type of rating, I don't think 2006 was better than a 1997 but it's a damn sight better than 2000 (don't ask :))

    Current temps: 11 deg C / 52 deg F

    Have a reflective Thursday!

I remember the day that we got our first ever ultra- sonic tooth scaler in at the vets. We were like kids with a new toy and every animal that came in for an op went home with sparkling gnashers for about two weeks!!!! :D :D
Give Ursula a big hug from me and tell her to be a brave girl. :-D

Good Morning/afternoon everyone - 37 degrees and sunny outside going up into the 50 today. Having some work done on the roof around the fireplace. Seem to be having some leaks. Hope this will take care of it. Hope you all have a nice day.

Morning all. mid 50's this morning, very overcast and possible rain later so it shouldn't get much warmer thru the day. Good chance of some heavy rain tomorrow.

For us 2006 was way better than 2005 and because it was I am looking forward to 2007..... whereas this time last year I would not have given you 2 cents for 2006 fearing it would be just as bad as 2005.

Good Morning to All. Had a few folks over for gnomebrew and a wood fire in the shop. Why is fire so delightfully mesmerizing? Had peanuts in the shell too. Told people to throw the shells in the fire and not on the floor for doggies to eat. Needless to say, steamcleaning carpet where dogs threw up shells. Why are people so untrainable? :scheming:

Good Morning everyone. It is 48 and sunny out today. I had a great MIL who passed away in 1990. I guess I was blest to not have those problems. Wannabe

Morning early birds! I don't usually post to this thread, but I haven't been online much and golly, things pile up around here! So I wanted to send out all my best wishes for the New Year to my garden friends, since I probably won't get much computer time before then (teenager home on break and hogging the computer!)
Everything here in Washington is so frosty it looks like the snow fell again! Gotta go feed the goaties! M.

    Happy Thursday, everyone. :-D

Hubby > :setf_055: and I > :setf_004: are working on his office re-do once again, today.
    Oooo, he's rather grumpy :sete_019: !

Seems that the fellow who built the room didn't own a builder's square,
so now each shelf for our "built-in" has to be cut to it's own "unique" dimension and shape.
:smt115 I got a gift set of Godiva liqueurs for Christmas,
I believe I shall do a bit of sampling when we've done with this little job. :setf_056:

Zuzu, re-doing hubbies home office is what we are starting on too. Randy's is not only a home office where he works 2 days a week but also his workroom with tools and junk....errrrr, I mean goodies....everywhere.

Let me know how the Godiva liqueurs work, I may have to get some too.

Good morning Stewbies on a very windy morning in Galway. I could hardly sleep last night due to the howling winds blasting up against my walls. I'm told that this is nothing compared to the wind they had here a few weeks back. Still at least the sky is blue and the sun is shining, a precursor for next year's weather?
