Good morning all. It is really really foggy here, but at least all that rain has stopped. And it is warmer than it should be. Houseguest arriving later today. Gotta change the sheets in the guest room.

Good morning all the storm has passed about 10:00PM last night I was out with Lucky and Basil when the clouds opened and a beautiful moon and stars appeared. It was one of those magical moments like being able to hold one arm in a rain shower while the rest if you stays dry. I guess yall are wondering if I took my medicine the way I rambling.
Have a great day I guess it is already New Years day for some of you so HAPPY NEW YEAR.

We're in for some really bad weather over the New Year according to the weather forecast. :( I think we'll just stay at home as there's warnings about travelling on the roads when the winds get too bad. Supposed to hit 120 mph!!! We also have teeming rain again and it's so dark here (1pm) that we have all the house lights on already.

Good aftermorning folks on the last breath of 2006, a time for reflection, celebration and a hope for a really special 2007. Anyone got any unique celebrations planned?

Winds are rapidly approaching high levels by Irish standards here so it's definitely not outside weather. I can hardly hear my music for the sound of the wind. It's also affecting my Internet connection :(

    Current temps: 12 deg C / 54 deg F
    Current music: Ash - Sometimes

Have a great New Year's Eve!

Morning all. Nippy and sunny this morning.

The trip to my Mom's yesterday went well. Had a nice visit the only ones missing were my nephew's family...their car wouldn't run so he spent the day working on it.
Brought back some furniture and things that Mom is thinning out. Not really a lot, but a recliner and two beautiful speaker cabinets that my Dad built over 30 years ago, two boxes of old LP's and my brother gave me a tree stump for Christmas. :-D :-D A real one that he had in his back yard and I had mentioned I would take when he was tired of it.

Hi everyone, Happy New Year's Eve! :D

I'm sending good thoughts out to all of you who are having to cope with violent weather,
stay safe, hope it settles down soon.

The weather system which has swept through Texas and Louisiana
has not arrived here yet. It is 68°F and still clear and bright at 11 am,
but increasing showers are in the forecast.

Good Afernoon! I see it is much past morning but I've just got my self together, I think. I seem to have come down with a version of crud that DR and Dan have had for a few days. I am feeling better right now. Our friends called today. We didn't see them when we were down in Phoenix because we didn't want to spread our crud but they have been having their own version. We will get together another time. Bright and sunny out right now. Dooley

Happy 2007 to all! We made it! Hard to believe the Stew will be 2 years old this month  Hope you had a nice celebration last night and didn't do anything too crazy :) I rang in the New Year in the pub with my siblings. There was a bit of confusion however so the countdown happened 3 times which now means I am in 2009 :D
