    Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 15°C and overcast. It is a lot darker in the mornings now! Off to work to start ripping out gardens and gathering things to decorate for fall. Have a great day all :)

    Good morning everyone, it has been a busy morning. We get to relax for the next 5 hours at 30,000 feet while the plane takes us on vacation. Only virtual gardening up here.

    Good morning all. Today is my watering day, I got the north shade bed and full sun bed both watered before the 10 a.m. deadline, will finish the rest of the front yard after 6 pm.
    Everything is really dry since I was not home to water on Saturday.

    The 94-99 degree temperatures are supposed to come to an end by the weekend with overnight lows being down into the upper 60's. That will be good gardening weather for me. But still only a very slight chance of rain in the forecast, 20% chance that some places in our area will have a little rain on Friday and Saturday.

    Happy Wednesday afternoon. Our temps are still getting up into the mid90s. But we too are waiting on cooler temps to get here by the weekend. Not much of chance of rain in the forecast until maybe Saturday.
    I'm getting a little anxious for some cooler temps to come and stay... I've got stuff I want to move but it's still too hot. Come on Fall!

    Good Thursday morning all. Currently a chilly 3°C(brrrr!) and it looks like frost on my roof! I guess I won't know until I get home later to check my gardens. Another busy day ahead so off I go! Have a great day all :)

    It is chilly furnace kicked on. But nice to see very few hummers still here.They are picking soy beans next to us.Must be getting better yield then they thought. Many loads in semi. but hope to get some rain soon. Some people in town should not be allowed to buy matches. Guy burning trash in barrel right next to the bean field.

    Happy Thursday morning. Same ol' weather here 71-91F and just a slight chance of rain in the forecast.
    Which means the water hoses are still getting a good workout.

    Good morning all. Hopefully this is the final 90+ deg day for a long while but somehow I don't really think it will be.

    The first of my two plant orders will be here today, a few days earlier than I thought. With the almost 100 deg temps this last week or so I haven't been able to get any areas ready for them yet. Guess I will be very busy this weekend.

    Good Friday morning all. Currently just 3°C and clear. I could hear the coyotes howling last night and they sounded close. I didn't even have the windows open! My Friday plans have changed a few times now, but now, sadly, it looks like a regular day today. I had hopes of seeing my oldest daughter but I guess she found something more interesting to do. So off to work I go, another day of putting gardens to bed for the winter. Have a great day all :)

    Good morning all. Plant order was delayed one day, bad weather somewhere? Oh, well, still don't have planting areas ready but that's okay.
    Two degrees cooler today than yesterday but hopefully 10 degrees cooler tomorrow with a 60% chance of rain.
