NETTY!!! Ice skating on the pond yesterday?? Rest and maybe no more ice skating until next winter ;)

Good morning all. Upper 60's but should only get into the lower 70's today and that would be great after the lower 80's we have had recently.

    Morning everyone,

Its cool here this morning, cant wait for Spring!!

Had a busy busy weekend, we had Kait home for a few days, and we took my MIL out for dinner, since its her b-day this week, and had all the usual trips to Toronto, shopping and all the normal stuff.

I'm pretty much home today, so i have all the bedding in the wash, including duvets, but do need to go back to the grocery store, forgot a few things.

    Anyhow....have a great day all.

Good Monday morning all. Currently -17°C and overcast. The shy is red this morning so I think the weather is about to change.
Yes Toni, skating on the pond, I fell and split my head open. It was a total fluke and I'm sure it couldn't be repeated. I don't think I'll be doing any more skating this year, or at least until the staples are removed and my wound is healed. ;) I took figure skating for 12 years as a teen and skate every year and this is the first time I have hurt myself. Kids are back to school today so I will have the day to myself and will be taking it easy. Have a great day all :)

Happy Monday morning. It's about 68F right now and overcast. And it'll probably be another day like yesterday... clearing out soon and reaching the lower 80s. No rain in sight for at least a couple of days.
I've been calling this weekend "mine" (and since I'm off work today I'm still calling it the weekend). On "my" weekend, I went to the Clapton concert on Saturday night. Sunday I had the house all to myself (Hubby is off camping). And today... I'm going to go into Beaumont to check out some nurseries that supposedly carry native plants.
Wish me luck on my search!

Good morning! Forecast said 30 percent chance of rain today. Was all cloudy but sun is peeping through. Maybe the rain will fall somewhere else. If it doesn't rain I can go outside today.

Good morning all. Almost 60 for a low temp, hopefully only lower 70's for the high. No rain here and not much chance as long as the heat cap from northwest Mexico is on top of us again. All we will see are flat bottom rain clouds passing over us. When the get passed the heat cap then they will rain but that will be out east of us. It might weaken later in the week and allow some light rain.....big whoop!!

    Morning everyone!!

Its not cold here this morning, but we did get some snow overnight, not as much as they thought though...thank god!!

Got all my cleaning done yesterday, and I'm off to Toronto shortly, and then have some errands for Brad when i get back.

    Have a great day everyone.

Happy Tuesday morning. We started the day off in the mid60s and it's only supposed to warm up to the upper 70s. Unlike yesterday when it reached a scorching 92F! And there's a good chance of rain tonight. So I'll be doing some planting when I get home from work.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -4°C and sunny. It is COLD out there because the wind is blowing. It doesn't feel very spring like. Doctors appointment this afternoon and then a bit of shopping. Hopefully I will get my regular Thursday errands done so I can stay home tomorrow! Have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning and happy first day of Spring!
We're getting a little bit of rain this morning which is perfect because I got some stuff planted yesterday. It's supposed to be clearing off soon and we'll reach the mid-to-upper 70s. And there's slight chances of rain for the next couple of days. We'll take whatever we can get!
