Happy Monday morning. Had a light frost on the windshield this morning and the thermometer read 35F when I left home. Our high might reach 60 today. Still sunny and thank goodness those nasty winds have stopped. The plants will remain tucked in and covered up for two more days.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -2°C and overcast. Today's high is 6°C and that is enough to get me outside with my rake. I had the staples removed from my head yesterday and am healing nicely. I am still a little tender there and that affects my sleep and puts a kink in my neck. I'm hoping some raking will loosen me up! Have a great day all :)

Happy Tuesday morning. We got down to freezing this morning... but no frost. And it's supposed to warm up to the 60F this afternoon. Lots of sunshine! And one more night of near freezing temps.

Good morning! It says we are into the 20's this morning and frost on everything. Nice hot cup of tea and some oatmeal will start warming me up.

    Morning everyone,

Its a little warmer here, supposed to be nice this afternoon and of course i will be in the truck, Brad and I are driving down around 12 to get Kait and bring her home for the Easter break.

Have a couple errands to do today, and need to pop into the Ford dealer and book my first oil change, we've had the truck exactly two months and it needs it (lol)!!

    Enjoy your day everyone.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -2°C and sunny. It's cold out but there are tons of birds out there! I hope to get a little more raking done outside later, but first some work inside. Have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning. Had a slight frost this morning. I'm so glad I kept the plants covered up one more night. Yeah weatherman... 39 degress. right. :D
We should be getting back to "normal" temps now... lows in 50s with highs in the 70s. We also have some small chances of rain in the weekend forecast. But in the meantime... I'll be dragging out the water hose this evening.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 1°C and overcast. I'm off to do my errands and shopping today, then hopefully some yard work. I might pick up a few cheap solar lights for my garden today ... a few didn't make it through the winter. Have a great day all :)

Happy Thursday morning. We're back to "normal" temps.... lows in the 50s with highs reaching 70. Today... the office closes at noon. I'll be making my rounds to a couple garden centers to see if there's something on my list that I can pick up.
Then I don't have to come back to work until TUESDAY! Can you say... sleep in? :D
But mostly, I'm looking forward to NOT having to make the hour commute to work for a few days. And I'm sure the truck appreciates a break too!
I've got all sorts of little projects/chores to keep busy over the long weekend. Let the playing begin!

Good morning! No sun here this morning. High will be in 70's though so maybe I can do something outside.

Good morning all. Today I will tackle the north shade bed!
It's under two large pecan trees and there was a very plentiful crop of pecans last fall, so many I couldn't keep them picked up. I don't want to be pulling saplings by the hundreds next year so I have to get as many up as possible.

55 degrees at 10 a.m. and going close to 70 this afternoon. Not a rain cloud in sight, very slight chance this weekend but the longterm forecast is for fewer and fewer chances over the next several months so we will be back in drought conditions before the end of June.

Good Friday morning all - literally! It is Good Friday and everyone else is still sleeping. I have already walked the dog and enjoyed a coffee. It's 2°C and overcast, but will be a nice, mild day. I plan on raking some more and maybe getting into a few of the gardens. Rabbits have made a mess of a few of my shrubs, so I'll be hunting rabbit too. Have a great day all :)

Good afternoon all! The weather is still staying cold however there is a good bit of sun out today. We are very lucky to have escaped all the snow here.
