Happy Tuesday morning. We're supposed to be getting some heavy rains this afternoon/evening and even more rain on Wednesday. Slowly chipping away at that deficit... wouldn't it be nice to start the summer NOT in drought conditions?
A sad start to my day though... I hit/killed a dog on my drive to work. :(

I haven't been posting much. Don't like giving dismal weather reports LOL The sun is shining brightly today
& when the sun shines I shine.
Cheryl, you are getting more moisture than us!Sorry to hear about that dog. I know you feel bad but sometimes it's unavoidable. We once ran over 1 right in front of children who were walking with it. Talk about remorse!

Overcast, but mild. Lots to do, but am slowly getting the yard tidied up. Will spread a little bark and weed a new section on the side yard.

Oh Cheryl, sorry about the dog. Don't blame yourself, the owner should not have let it run loose!!!

Good morning all. We were promised a multi-inch rain storm today....so far we have gotten 80% of NOTHING. It all went way north through Oklahoma. Good luck getting any rain Cheryl, there looks to be some building up around Houston that might get you.

I am making a new bed out back in front of the truck tailgate, mainly planting some seeds but also transplanting divisions of established plants.

Went to Restore and bought base cup board . Had nice counter.Had brought my measurements. In no time had it fitted in. Then looked at my kitchen. Had spent 2 hours doing some Spring cleaning it. And yes glad temps are going up slowly.

It's bedtime but I thought I'd just say that we are getting a very large amount of water out of the sky tonight. It's accompanied with lots of thunder and lightning. It's supposed to last into tomorrow morning. Hope it doesn't wash out my garden. I didn't plant the tender plants because I was afraid all of the rain would beat them down to pulp. I'm glad I didn't plant them now. You all have a good night.

    Morning everyone,

Its a cold and frosty morning here, supposed to be that way for the next few days!!

I have some errands to do for Brad, as well as a couple of my own, plus we are heading down this afternoon to pick up Kait, she gets to come home for a week, then its back down for exams.

Off to get some more coffee, so enjoy your day everyone.

Happy Wednesday morning. It's a bit cooler today with the rain clouds hovering over. Supposedly a 100% chance of rain this morning... none yet. Those storms that blew through last night brought me 1.25 inches of rain. Some places had it really bad with LOTS of lightning, hail and power outages. We just got rain and a normal amount of lightning.

Good morning! Cloudy, rainy and cold this morning. Almost an inch of rain overnight. Electric out briefly twice.
Going to be an inside day today.

Great Scott! We have had sunshine going on THREE days in a row and three more forecasted. WOW! only 39 today though. Tomorrow is supposed to be 50. I am not sure if we will make it but I saw 59 for Sunday, but rain. We haven't seen 60 in 6 months, I think. Off to seed 500 marigolds, now. Have a great day, All!

Good morning everyone, the past two days the wind has been over 20 mph making yard work a breeze. :-( Everything blows down the street. On top of that the temps have fallen from a seasonal low 50's to low 30's. Wind chill drops it even further. The Houseplants and I watch from the warm confines of the house. :) next week will be warmer. The Daylilies next to the foundation have braved the elements and are up about 2 to 3 inches, they have windbreakers on(leaves) and huddle in groups(how they were planted) to keep warm.

    It is still cccold,

    Jerry
