Good morning all. Well the rain has FINALLY arrived here. Early forecasts had it coming in around 6 a.m. but that was just a heavy mist, now we have thunder and rain. Not expecting much, maybe 1/2 inch but coming from the sky than the water faucet is better for the plants. But the whole system is moving from almost due south of us to north-northeast so it won't last long and all the good rain is in Oklahoma yet again.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -2°C and overcast. There is a winter storm warning in effect for today, but I think it will stay to the south of us. Off to do my errands and shopping, then home to continue my spring cleaning. Have a great day all :)

Happy Thursday morning. It practically rained/stormed all night. I check the rain gauge before I left for work this morning and it had 2.5 inches of the wet stuff in it... and it's still raining a little bit. I also checked the thermometer... it was 42F! Brrrrrr.....
And it's going to be like that for two more days.... but without the rain.

Good morning all. I love days with a dark thick overcast of rain clouds, drippy rain alternating with periods of heavy rain followed by hours of steady medium drizzle. Too bad yesterday wasn't like that  It was overcast and drizzly with a 20 minute heavy drizzle that put a whoppin' 1/4 inch of rain on my gardens.

This morning is sunny and chilly, only 41 degrees now and in the low 60's later. In the low 80's by Sunday. Oh well, at least this spring has been 10-25 degrees cooler than the last three Springs.

Good morning! It's sunny here right now but cold! I uncovered my herbs so they could get some sun today but will cover them again tonight. I brought the tender plants in from the greenhouse since it doesn't have a door yet and it was going to be cold last night. Our thermometer said it was 32 at 9 am. It's a little past 40 now. We always have colder than it says it will be. Rain, two tenths of an inch.
Will stay inside today, I think. Maybe soup for supper.

Mornin all :) Got some rain here last night! A few areas got hail o.o My sisters place got golf-ball size hail, but over where I work (a few miles away) they only got pea-sized heh. Where I live (20 mins south of work) we didnt get any at all. 61º and still cloudy. As for todays plans, going to Applebees for lunch, then picking up some rum cupcakes my friend made (she says theyre delicious lol).

Good Friday morning all. Currently -1°C and freezing rain. School buses are cancelled because of horrible road conditions. No sense in trying to do too much spring cleaning today when the whole family is home! Looks like a lazy day ahead. Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning. We had another chilly start to the day with the lows around 44F. But it'll be warming up to low 70s. I think the same thing is in-store for tomorrow... but perhaps a little warmer.
I really want to get a truckload of mulch tomorrow. I think it'll be perfect timing since we got all that rain the other day (2.75 inches).

Good morning everyone, yesterday the chilly willies settled into the area making flower bed cleaning(for someone who hates to wear gloves) a bit cool. The plants didn't mind having the winter debris cleaned away, only my hands. Today is an inside day there may be sleet :-( It will be warmer tomorrow and no sleet. :)

Good Fri morning.Well we carried 2 big boxes of petunias back into the greenhouse last night. They wouldn't have frozen in coldframe but I slept better.

Good morning! It's sunny and bright and 50 degs already. Have breakfast baking in the oven. May plant my tender plants outside today.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 2°C and overcast. Yesterday's ice storm, thankfully, didn't cause too much damage in my yard, just a few small branches down. Too wet to work in the yard today, so it looks like I'll be working inside. Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday morning. It's in the mid50s here this morning with a few clouds floating about. We should get up to the 80s. After I go grocery shopping, I'm going to finally get my truckload of mulch!
I have a few things that need to be planted and some things to up-pot. Plus I think it's safe to put my most tenderest-special plants back to their outside homes (there's only two left inside).
The grass could use a good mowing, but the ground is too wet/soggy. But I think I will get out the weed-eater and do some trimming.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 2°C and sunny, with clouds. Rain expected again later. Packed up the kids and drove to surprise my parents for a visit yesterday. After we came home, I went and picked up some free fencing that will hopefully be long enough to fence in my veggie garden. Met a new neighbor too and she also gave us some firewood. It was a very productive day! I hope the weather stays nice so I can get some work done outside today! Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. It's almost 70F right now and overcast with a slight chance of rain. I think I'll get out the push mower and attack my area even though the ground is still a little mushy. I was going to move some plants back outdoors but just saw the weather forecast... next weekend they have a low of 39F predicted (and that's in Houston.. I get at least 5 degrees cooler than them). I sure hope it changes throughout the week.
