Goooooooood morning all. My gardens got 1 inch of rain early this morning and the temp is hovering in the mid-40's only going into the 60's for a couple of days.

I spent two hours watering the back garden yesterday just to make sure we got rain this time  But it was worth it.

Glad you got a good rain Toni! :)
Good morning, currently 17°C and overcast. We had an intense, severe thunderstorm last night and things around the yard are looking much greener today. The temperatures are fluctuating ... yesterday when I went shopping it was 8°C and when I came out of the store it was 22°C! Nice to have some warmer temperatures, but it will cool down to 2°C this weekend. At least we will see some sun! Have a great day all :)

Good morning! Cool 37 with sun this morning. I covered all my plants last night. All 60? of them. I am glad I did because the table out there had a thin layer of ice. It broke and brushed right off but...I'm glad the plants were covered. Same thing tonight! Tomorrow it will warm up some again. Only intermittent rain yesterday. Rain gauge says .43 inches.

Happy Friday morning. A cool start to the day with temps in the mid40s. Should reach mid 70s this afternoon. I got just under 1/4 inch of rain yesterday.
We're expected temps to be in the mid-to-upper 30s Saturday morning. I've been trying to decide if I need to cover up any plants or not. I'll definitely be bringing in the seedlings that are in pots... but there's some things planted that might get frost damage. What to do? Well... I guess it's not that hard of a question... I've babied them all winter... what's one more night of covering them up?

Good afternoon all. Springy day here today - fresh air, sunshine and the fields are greening up. A bit of rain promised for next week but at least the weather is looking more normal now.
    Have a great Saturday all!

Happy Saturday morning. It's 42F right now and I think it should warm up to the lower 70s today. Clear skies!
I'm glad their prediction of a freeze was wrong. I brought in the seedlings but only covered two of the most tender plants. Today I'll do some up-potting and planting a few new things.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 2°C and overcast. A few passing rain showers yesterday and the water table is high again. Just an hour east of here yesterday a tornado touched down and just an hour north there is severe flooding. I feel very lucky to just have a small lake on my lawn. Staying indoors today, lots of baking, cleaning and laundry to catch up on. Have a great day all :)

Good morning! The sun is shining bright and it's already in 50's. I'm glad I covered the plants again last night. It was 29 when I looked out at 5:30 am. I was awake worrying about it.
They appear to be alright. There are 14 flowers on the tomato plants already. Those pots probably won't cover them much longer.

Good morning all. I think it just barely got down into the 40's here last night cause it was already in the 50's at 9 a.m. At least the day time highs are still comfortable for gardening.
I have about 2 dozen plants to get in the ground. I didn't think I was buying this many plants but they have accumulated over the last 2-3 weeks so I had better get busy.
All these plants and still I am tempted to make a trip to the garden center at some point this weekend

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -2°C and sunny. We had snow squalls most of yesterday but thankfully the snow melted as soon as it hit the ground. It is cool today but sunny so it might be a nice day to work in the yard. Have a great day all :)

Good morning! I covered my plants last night just as a precaution. It was 36 degs this morning. They are all uncovered and enjoying the sunshine now. Forecast is for 51 degs tonight so I probably won't cover them. Sun is shining. It looks to be a nice day. I should water the plants and pull some more weeds.

Happy Sunday morning. It's almost 60F right now with lots of sunshine. Just a few fluffy clouds here and there. Yesterday was a very productive day. I just piddled around and got this done and that done.
Today is the day that I'll be putting my last two big tender plants back to their "summer home" in the garden.

    Morning everyone,

Its sunny here!! Yesterday was gorgeous, and today is supposed to be as nice, so I'll be back outside working in the gardens, since tomorrow i am back down in Toronto.

Today is Brad's birthday, but we arent doing anything until the weekend, since it'll be Kaits's 23rd b-day. We are taking everyone out for dinner, so that'll be nice and no cooking!!

May pop in later, if not, enjoy your day everyone.
