Happy Friday morning. It's a little misty out there this morning but I doubt we'll get any "real" rain. Temps should get up to the 80s again. This week seems to have dragged on... I'm ready for the weekend! :stew2:

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 2°C and overcast. We had some rain early this morning. Was a little bored out in the yard yesterday, so I went to town and looked thru the garden center that finally opened last week. Didn't buy any plants but did buy some soil ... 5 yards! So today, I top dress, edge, and divide perennials. But first I need to drive to town and get my 4 containers full of free compost! Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday morning. It's overcast today with a slight chance of rain. But the top chore is mowing. After that, I can play around between rain drops if I have to.
My cousin and daughter are back home from Colorado visiting... so I'm really looking forward to seeing them today.
Guess that means I'd better at least clean the kitchen before I start playing in the yard. :stew2:

Hello all. Oy what a day...theres a cat thats been hanging around here, so today I finally got it into a crate and tried to take it to the humane society near where I work. They wouldnt take it though because I live in a different county than the HS is in! So after work, (kitty stayed in the breakroom while I worked) I took it to the HS in my county (which was out of my way *eyeroll*) but they woudlnt take it because they take animals by appointment only! Jeez...my only options were drive all the way to the south side of town (another 30 mins on top of the hour Id already driven) to Annimal Care and Control or take it back home and let it loose again...so home I went. I set up the crate in the backyard with food and water so hopefully kitty wont go too far. If its still around Monday, Ill try to take it to ACC then.

Phew, sorry bout the novel, but yeesh...these people dont make it easy to help stray kitties :(

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 7°C and sunny. I had a very busy day in the yard yesterday - got 2 of the bigger gardens edged, weeded, divided and topdressed. Today I will continue to battle the dirt pile and try to get the rest of the gardens done. Have a great day all :)

Good morning! All that thunder, etc. only produced .23 inches of rain last night. It disrupted my internet use though. Now the sun is shining and it will be 84 degs today. Humid!

Happy Sunday morning. We got right around 1/2 inch of rain overnight. But today is supposed to be our big "rain day". South of Houston really got hammered with some places getting 5+ inches of rain and flooding. Too much water too fast.
Anyhow... got all the mowing and edging done yesterday and potted up a few empty containers I had sitting around. Nothing really planned for today, maybe just pull weeds in-between doing nothing. :stew2:

Hello all! 55º and drizzly here.
Well, I posted on Indy Lost Pets about the kitty, and someone texted me this morning about it! They're going to come over tomorrow and see if its their kitty who had been missing since February!

I hope the weather is decent tomorrow, I have the day off and want to finish dividing my patch of Rudbeckia :)

Happy Monday morning. If I had to work today, I would have been late because if it's this foggy at 9am... I can't imagine how heavy it was at 7am.
Yesterday was pretty much a do-nothing-day.
Today's chore... tackle the weeds in the succulent bed.

Good morning! Spent most of morning trying to fit a love seat into an already crowded living room. We did it with only one small file cabinet left over. Oh, dear! Where shall it go? Out the back door! No! I shall find a spot, maybe under the love seat. lol

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 12°C and overcast. Off to another day of work doing spring cleanup. I had a fight with a giant Hosta yesterday and my shoulders are a little sore. I'm almost half way done cleanup :) Have a great day all!
