Happy Thursday morning. I checked on the status of everything in the garden yesterday after that windy storm. Lots of twigs and branches down. Alot of the plants are leaning heavily to the south. The big fennel was uprooted. Dinner plate Hibiscus and one of the Autumn Sages took a beating but should bounce back. Some cannas are on the ground. So really... no major losses. There was even another 1/8th inch of rain in the gauge.
Today started off foggy and misty but the sun is quickly shining through and we should have plenty of sunshine for the holiday weekend. Which for me starts to tommorrow! Woohooo 4 days from work. :smt026

Good Saturday morning all. Just wondering how I missed Friday? LOL Currently 4°C and sunny. There was a frost warning last night and I think there is also one for tonight. I have all my planters inside and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the veggies I planted last weekend. So far it looks OK. Off to take my son to driving school and then home to put up the pool. Have a great day all :)

Good afternoon all. While the weather has picked up a bit there is still an unseasonably cold breeze out. And today I read that this strange spell will continue right the way into June. Are we going to get any summer this year!?
Anyway have a great Saturday ahead!

Happy Saturday morning. Today looks like it's going to be like yesterday.... kinda cloudy and high temps of nearly 90F. There's a slight chance of showers.
Yesterday was spent mowing and weeding and then a good house-cleaning. My sister will be visiting today from California. Good thing she comes at least once a year or else the house would never get this clean! :D My brother and his family will also be here... we're gonna have a fish-fry! Yummmmmmy!

Good morning! It's gray and cloudy. Weather.com says 40 percent chance of rain this afternoon. I looked at the radar and it says it's raining out there. Must be across the road or somewhere. I don't see anything wet out there. Oh, maybe it's a dry rain.

Good afternoon all. We are home from our junqueing forays with goodies galore, photos will take a while but they will be posted soon.

We got home just minutes before it started raining here, just enough time to get non-water resistant items unloaded and in the house. I don't think rain is going to hurt rusted metal and metal that has rust on it and old metal with worn paint and some with worn paint and rusted metal. ;)

Good Sunday morning all. Currently just 4 degrees above freezing and sunny. There is a little bit of a breeze too. I think I was lucky and didn't get the frost that weatherman was predicting for the past 2 nights. It should warm up now. We got our pool filled yesterday and it was the first time I can ever remember doing this chore in pants and a jacket! The water was only 14°C (57°F) yesterday and I'll bet it is colder today. I won't be swimming for a while! Taking my son to his driving class and then home to do some housework and laundry. Maybe out to the garden later. Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. Had a great time yesterday with my sis... visited all the aunts and came home for fish & shrimp and all the fixins and homemade apple pie for dessert!
Today looks it will just as pretty of a day. Some clouds to block out the blazing sun. Just a slight breeze and temps getting up to 90F. Not sure what I'm gonna do... the house is clean... the yard is clean... guess I could always find some weeds to pull. Or maybe... I just won't do anything?

Happy Sunday. It started raining yesterday & has been raining off & on.It is cool, too. Have to go to a wedding today & I won't feel like I could be planting flowers.
We were getting dry here so I'm glad for the rain. It would rain nearby but miss us.This will take the daylilies through bloom. They should be good. And no dragging that durn hose to soak those big beds. Course still have umteen containers to water, but that goes with the territory.
