Good Monday morning all. Currently just 2°C and sunny. We had patchy frost in the yard today, I hope that is the last time!
Off to work ... today we are putting up deer fence to keep the little darlings out of the veggies. Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Temps are starting out in the lower 70's every day this week  But at least we had 1/2 inch of rain Saturday afternoon and my plants survived my being away on vacation much better than they did the past two years.

I really have some cleaning up to do, pecan saplings have popped up all over the gardens.

Happy Monday evening. And here's a shout out to all servicemen and women - past and present. Thanks!
I've been watering all day. Nice and slow good soaking for everything. I have about an hour to go then it'll be about time to call it a day.
The weather has been nice all weekend... a little cloudy... a little breezy and temps just barely reaching 90.
Hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day Weekend. Mine was about 80% good... what's wrong with people just inviting themselves to your house and then staying until you practically have to throw them out the door?? sheesh!

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 10°C and overcast. Hoping the deer fence we put up yesterday worked and kept the little darlings out. Planting tomatoes today so I hope we are done with the frost. Have a great day all :)

Happy Tuesday morning. Back to work after 4 days off. Just saw the weather forecast... we have a 20% chance of rain every day this week. Now... if it would only happen at least once, I'd be happy.

Good Tuesday! It's just after noon, 10 per cent chance of rain, sun and clouds, going to 90 degs. I'm sewing today in between here and facebook.

Happy Tues.Looks like it is fixing to rain again. No relief in sight. Lots of serious flooding.I have many plants setting out waiting to be planted. They are getting raggy looking. Will definitely need a shot of fertilizer if it ever quits raining.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 14°C and overcast. We had (unexpected) heavy rains overnight. Not too bad here, but one of Toronto's busiest highways is closed in a section due to flooding. I'm off to work ... great day for transplanting! Have a great day all :)

Good morning! Cloudy with 20 percent chance of rain. Nothing close to us on the radar though.
We had a pouring down rain yesterday. It started, rained less than a minute and quit. The rain gauge said we got .08 inches in that small amount of time. I still have to go and water some stuff and spray some ant hills.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 18°C and foggy. It's is going to be a hot, humid day with chance of thunderstorms. I hope not to get caught in any! Off to work, where the veggies are still underwater, and the rivers are overflowing their banks. Have a great day all :)
