flowie I won't be baking muffins in the house today but I could put them out on the hood of my car and they will be done in about an hour.

Good morning all. Nuther hot and dry, 105 yesterday and again today. We now have to start conserving electricity for fear of rolling brown outs and possibly rolling black outs by the weekend because of the heat.

Yeah, I love living in Texas this year.

Is 2:30 in the afternoon to late for a Good Morning? It is sunny here today but is "subdued" and not real bright looking. It was 69 when I got up but is 80 now.

Good morning everyone. Dooley is still snoozing but Chance and I are up. I bought her a new squeeky toy last night and she is busy with it. No sun so far. The sky is gray and it is starting to rain. Very long monsoon season this year. dr

Morning all, I guess I could call it a Good Morning since I did get to wake up this morning for which I am thankful but there is the same old, same old going on here outside and it is not going to get better at least for the next three and a half months.

Anyway, laundry and dishes are on my to-do list as usual. I quit using the dishwasher about two months ago and find I enjoy washing them by hand again....is that perverted or what?

I am still watering my garden, more out of guilt for not doing all I can to keep them alive than out of hope for their survival.

Okay, my knitting needles are waiting for me.

Hope you all have a good day and for those across the big pond hope you had a good day.

I do the dishs and I do them by hand. Wish I could send this rain your way. Living in the desert like here, You realize nothing is done half way by mother nature. It was so dry earlier in the year that we constantly worried about fire. Now we have had so much rain that grass I measured in the back yard was over 4 feet tall. After the rain,it will all dry up and back to the fire danger. I guess you have to have a sense of humor. dr

oh, dr, I find myself laughing about our weather quite frequently. I have been told it sounds like a combination of hysterical and maniacal and it is not pleasant to hear, but hey I am laughing :-D

Toni I feel the exact same frustration about aspects of the Web and running a website. So much is out of your hands and controlled by 'higher powers' that all you can do is laugh at the injustice of it all. But we soldier on and adapt that is the most important thing to do :D

Good Morning everyone. I am up and about early today and we are getting off again on again showers. Not enough to measure but it is cool, 74. The forecast is for scattered thunderstorms. DR tell Dooley I am proud of her, you and Chance!

Good morning! I'm finally up. Nice morning for sleeping in. It was 58F at 8 am and the ground is all soggy so the stars must not have lasted long last night. I walked out with Chance and looked at all the flowers. Now it's time for bagels and tea. Dooley

Rise and shine all on this new morning of August 19th. Sun is shining here and there is a freshness in the air. I can feel the end of summer already. Before you know it there will be snow all around! Just had my breakfast and now I'm going to check all new posts ;)

Hope the day treats you well.
