Happy Monday morning. It sure is pleasant outside this morning! Low 70s and low humidity. Our temps will be back to "manageable"... mid 70s to mid 90s. It's amazing how big a difference 5 degrees can make! And there's a good chance of some rain towards the weekend.
Short work week... we're closed for July 4th & 5th.... plus it'll be my regular Monday off... so a FIVE-day weekend coming up for me. Woohooo!!!
And Happy Canada Day to y'all up there! :stew1:

Good morning all....well it is afternoon now but it would have been a good morning if I had gotten up to see it. Fought off some minor 'bug' during the night so not much sleep was had. That was remedied by sleeping until almost noon today

Maybe I will get out in the yard tomorrow morning, I have too much still to do out there so I really can't afford to miss the good gardening weather. 100+ will be back before I know it.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently overcast with a chance of rain and 14°C. First day of this work week and I am starting at a new time ... 6am. This makes for an earlier work day and more time in the afternoon to do my own stuff. The morning is the only time I could make more hours in the day! Have a great day all :)

Very overcast in central Scotland today. Don't think many people will get much done in their gardens today!

Good Tues AM.And a good one it is for the 3rd day in a row. Wonderful gardening weather.I am still planting.I'm the poster girl for attempting too much!I accumulated a few too many annuals from seeds & cuttings. Also picked up a 6 pack or 2 every time I went to town to round out my smorgasbord. Never again & this time I mean it.

Happy Tuesday morning. Another gorgeous morning. Wish I didn't have to come to work. I wanted to stay and watch all of the blooms open on my Hibiscus plants. The Dinner Plate and Pink Hardy were about to "explode". Alas... they will closed or closing by the time I get home. Oh well.... five day weekend just around the corner!

    Good morning!
It's July 2nd and I am starting year number nine on Gardenstew! It's also post number 6001. I posted a lot more during the earlier years but I do come every day to read posts and see what the members are chatting about and what information that I can glean for here.
I enjoy the news and pictures and information posted here.
Post number 6,000 is a separate post to celebrate. But, I do try to say Good morning or Good Afternoon every day but you know sometimes life gets in the way. Our truck has a way of not staying in the driveway. Yesterday it took us to College Station. We had a great lunch at BJ's Brew Pub and spent a few hours shopping and came home wore out. It isn't as easy as it was 8 years ago.
It's thanks to Gardenstew that we moved to Texas and a big Thanks to Glenda and Jubabe for the encouragement to do so. It's a very good place to live and garden.
May I be here eight years from now and have met many, many more wonderful gardeners.

    Have a Great Day everyone!

Although it is supposed to get into the 80's F today we are experiencing a cool marine influence this morning making gardening a pleasure. Great day to all :stew1:

Good afternoon to all. Raining here as usual. Promising us a nice weekend but rain and drizzle until then. Garden is starting to look a little pale from all the rain. No garden work until the weekend!

Good morning all. No rain here as usual, but an ever so slight chance of some on Sunday...until then the water bill goes higher and higher.

About 66 degrees here so I am heading for the back garden to do some much needed cleaning.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 19°C and foggy. I think its going to be a HOT one! Second day of my new early shift, and the alarm had to wake me today. And then the snooze sigh ... it will be worth it when I leave work at 2:30. Have a great day all :)
