Good morning all. Rain again today. We've had 2 1/2" since Monday and more on the way. Hope to be able to pick from the garden this morning. Cukes and zucchini are probably big as a baseball bat.

Yay! Another nice day.I can't believe how cool it gets at night. But it keeps house from getting so hot when sun gets around to the west side .I have that greenhouse across the south side of house & it's like having an oven there even tho it has shading.
    Have a safe 4th everyone!

Happy Wednesday morning. Another night and morning with pleasant temps. Sunny today and tomorrow but then there's 30-40% chance of rain for the next several days. We could sure use it. I think I'm starting to get carpal tunnel syndrome from using the spray nozzle on the water hose so much lately! :stew2:
Six hours to go until my 5-day weekend starts! woohooo!

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 18°C and overcast. We may have had a sprinkle of rain overnight. Off for my 3rd day of the early shift, and I am really LOVING being done at 2:30! If we get a bit of rain today, it would be great! Have a great day all :)

Looks like the marine influence has moved in this AM. Maybe will finish pulling the bind weed this morning before it burns off. We are insulating the shed today. Lots to do when hubby has a day off :stew1:

Good morning! Fed the ants, fed the birds, fed ourselves. Now, time to enjoy a nice sunny day!

Morning all. These last few mornings have been nice but not nearly as cool as forecast. A breeze would have made it nicer

The grand-dog is staying with us until Saturday evening. His 'pack' (my oldest daughter and two grandsons) have gone to New Braunfels to the huge Schlitterbahn water park there.
We have no plans to leave the house today except for watering the back garden this evening.

Happy Thursday afternoon. And happy 4th of July.
Hubby has a pot of beans cooking. My potatoes are boiling so I can make potato salad. The ribs are marinating.
    The dog got a bath.
The plants are getting a drink... but not a soaking since there's a pretty good chance of rain the next few days.
I'm totally thrilled about having 5 days off in a row... now I can really check on the garden and see how things are doing... and keep an eye on stuff to see what bugs are hanging around.

Friday has finally arrived and the sun is shining! What more could we want? Especially in Scotland! Perfect weather for getting some gardening done

Good Friday morning all! Currently 21°C and overcast. It's going to be a HOT one today, and no rain so it looks like I'm going to spend my day dragging hoses. Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning. I got to enjoy the cool morning out in the garden. Up-potted some stuff. Even spread a few seeds. Watered the front. It's starting to heat up... 90F right now. I guess the rest of the day will be spent just puttering around.

Continue today finishing up the paneling on the inside of the smoke shack. Nice cool day to work out side. A perfect 75 F forecasted for today.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 22°C and overcast. We had a good rain yesterday, but not until I had finished watering all the gardens at work. It was very dry so the rain is still much appreciated. Gardens at home got watered too. I have some grass to cut today, and a war with cucumber beetles to continue with. Those suckers are everywhere!! Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday morning. Another beautiful start to the day. Temps will get up to the mid-90s. After I go into town, my main job is to clean the inside of my truck. Haven't decided on whether washing it will make the rain come tomorrow as promised... or jinx it away. :-o
The grass is so dry and without any rain lately, no need to mow. However... I didn't do the weed-eating and trimming last time, so maybe I'll get that done too.
