The Good Day All Thread

Mornin' Glory . . . I have two more Friday's off until school starts, and this happens to be one of them. It is 70 degrees here in the foothills of NC. We are expecting a high of 82 with a possibility of thunderstorms this afternoon. Have a Blessed Day!

 

Happy Friday morning. Our "feel like" temp today will be 105F. I didn't get everything watered yesterday, so I'll be dragging those hoses around this evening and over the weekend.

 

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 15°C and overcast. I do hope we get some rain today ... things have dried right out. There is a 70% chance of rain today. House work and then outside to weed (and water?) the gardens. Have a great day all

 

we are 30 degrees cooler then last weekend. Dig out long sleeve shirt.

 

Good Sunday morning all. Lovely morning here. We had a rain storm giving more rain in one day then we usually get for the whole month of July. Poor squash plants are at the bottom of the garden right in the worst of the flood zone. :'( Been propping them up so I think they will be alright. Everything else seems to be doing well.

 

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 21°C and clear. We had some light rain overnight and now its a nice sunny day. Cleaning and laundry to do today and then out to the garden! Have a great day all

 

Happy Sunday morning. We got about 1/4th inch of rain early Saturday morning. And other 1/4th last night. So, I think the water hoses will have the day off today.
A cousin is in from California visiting for a few days. We stayed up midnight chatting, then took her to another cousin's house where she is staying. Stayed there 'til 1am chatting some more. I didn't want to get outta bed this morning.
All the mowing and trimming is done. I really need to put a major effort into weed control.

 

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I had quite a hectic one so feeling pretty tired today, I guess Monday's are not my favourite day of the week!

 

It's Monday, not my favorite day either! Currently 18°C and cloudy. We are only 2 degrees from our 20°C high. It's going to be a long day, unless we get some rain then I can come home early.

Happy Monday morning. I don't mind Mondays so much...I get to go back to work and get some rest.
Actually, I had a pretty lazy day yesterday. Didn't do hardly anything but sit around. We had clouds most of the day and even got about 1/8th of rain... so it wasn't terribly hot.

 

Going to put winter pj's on tonight. Customer must have extra cold. Walked in had furnace on. And set at 82* Turned it off. And back on when we left. Watered beds when we got home.

Good morning to everyone. It is 16C here this morning with fog and mist. Promises to clear later today with the next couple of days of sun. I hope so, the gardens really need a good week of sun.
