Thinking of those of you who are coping with harsh weather, hoping that the winds abate
and that the ice and floods don't create dangerous situations for any of you.

I guess you could say that I'm out here at the "tail-end of the dog".
The foul weather which has reached so many of you is still a couple of days away, yet.
It's 70°F at 1pm and expected to rise into the mid 70's tomorrow and Monday,
but after that we expect a sharp change. :-?

Hubby and I went out for brunch this morning, got the week's shopping done and put away.
It's too nice out there not to spend time getting dirty, so I think I'll pot up some of the cuttings
I took back in Nov., they appear to be rooting nicely, finding space for them
    once they're in pots . . . :-| now that could be a problem.

Good aftermorning folks on this mild Malmö day. The wind seems to be picking up though, let's hope it's not a sign of things to come.

Saw a great movie on TV last night Kramer vs. Kramer. I understand that it is an old movie (made in the year I was born) but just wanted to say I enjoyed it very much :).

    Current temps: 7 deg C / 45 deg F
Current listening to: RTE Radio 1 Ireland

    Enjoy your Sunday!

Good Sunday morning all. Currently sitting at -3 deg C and overcast. There is no wind today at all and it's so quiet outside...a little eerie really. No sign of that rascally rabbit this morning either.
    Have a great day all!

Good morning all. Sunshine again this morning. Two mornings in a row. Hard to believe. Lots of folks have hangovers in New Orleans or maybe are still partying. The New Orleans Saints won their football game last night. Richard, you must be on top of the world.

Morning all. It just this minute started raining again and this time it will be freezing on the streets and ground.
From Friday thru late last night my yard got 3.5 inches of rain. The cold rain and ice was first forecast to end sometime Monday morning, now they are extending it into Tuesday morning.

I watched the Tom Hanks movie The Terminal last night on TV. I like Tom Hanks and this movie was a good fun movie to knit by.

Good icey morning to all. After sitting under candles for more than 4 hrs.and
thank goodness I make candles had about 30 going .They kept me really nice and cozy.I was really worried about my plants in my little plastic house .I checked them this morning and they seem to be ok .We have ice and at this moment not raining .Rain gage showed almost 3 1/2 inches . I turned it upside down so it wont freeze after I checked it.

    Oooo, Glenda, YIKES!
Sorry you lost power, but I'm glad that you were so well prepared
and that your tender plants look okay.
We're still quite warm, here at the coast, but more overcast, today.
I do hope that when the cold front finally does get here it does not come with ice and snow,
[IMG] the weatherman says there is a slight chance.

This is our forecast for tomorrow

Winter storm watch in effect from Monday afternoon through late Monday night,
The NWS in houston/galveston has issued a winter storm watch, which is in effect from Monday afternoon through late Monday night.
A stronger surge of cold arctic air is forecast to filter into the area later tonight and through the day Monday. Periods of overrunning rainfall are expected to continue as this occurs. Temperatures should be falling through the day on Monday and may fall below the freezing mark late Monday afternoon. As this occurs, rain will begin freezing as it hits the ground. Initially, late monday afternoon, the primary threat for ice accumulation will be on elevated structures such as bridges and overpasses. Travel will become hazardous.
By Monday night, temperatures will continue to fall and precipitation will become primarily freezing rain and sleet. More significant ice accumulations are expected. In addition to the hazardous travel, trees and powerlines will increasingly be at risk of falling.

    The rest of it

Unfortunately, conditions are not expected to improve for a couple days as mix of freezing rain and sleet may continue into early Wednesday morning. This watch may eventually need to be upgraded to a warning and extended further in time.
A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant snow, sleet, or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Please continue to monitor the latest updated forecasts on this developing weather situation.

Good morning all. Looks like I'm the first stewbie up this morning!
Winter weather warning here today-all the school busses are cancelled and the weather is finally looking like January. There is snow accumulating and it looks like the kids will be able to play in the snow.
    HAve a great day all!
