Good morning all. Only 58 when I got up this morning much better than the 72 it was at sunrise yesterday. We broke a hottest temp record yesterday when the temp hit 89. The only saving grace is that the sun is so low on the southern horizon at this time of the year that it's not beating down hot and sweltering on us like three+ months ago so the day wasn't too bad.

Food is finally beginning to taste good for me again, I think anesthesia three times in the last 4 months wreaked havoc with my taste buds. Now that food is tasting good again I will find myself gaining back some of the weight I have lost lately....which really is a good thing this time. ;)

Good morning! Sun is shining here today, too. I hope it's shining up in the northern part of the midwest, too. I haven't looked at the weather map yet. dr is washing clothes and I'm sewing today. Have a great day!

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. Still windy out there, but thankfully it is much calmer than the last 2 nights. The wicked wind gusts kept me up again last night. Today I need to go out and finish my birthday shopping ... my daughter turns 19 on Friday! Have a great day all :)

Good morning! The cold air finally arrived last night and the temps got down into the 30's F. Suppose to get into the 50's today and for a few more days before another cold front come through. Guess it is that time of year. I need to take advantage of the warm weather while it's still here and clear out some of the leaves in the ditches going down the drive. One more cup of coffee should help me decide. :-D

Happy Tuesday morning. Finally it's feeling like Fall here. Temps today from 55 to 75F. And it's supposed to be near freezing this weekend. The plants are so confused... My little Azalea is even blooming. Poor little thing doesn't know whether it's summer or winter! :stew2:

Good morning all. Temp is slowly dropping this morning as a cool front moves through. One weather man is predicting a 'blue norther' this weekend and looking at the forecast he just might be right...32 at night and only in the 40's for highs. I am sooooo ready for some cold weather.
If we get the rain and wind also predicted, my large pecan and hackberry trees should be nekked by Monday. ;)

Good morning! Sunny but not too warm yet today. A chicken from next door has found our bird feeders. I chased it off twice this morning. If it comes again we may just have chicken for dinner. I'm not looking forward to cold weather. It activates my arthritis some more than usual. But, it is winter so I expect I'll get used to it. Have a great day.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -6°C and sunny. Everything was frozen sold this morning. Not really sure what I'm doing today. I have to admit, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Maybe I should go back to bed and start over? Have a good day everyone.

Happy Wednesday morning. Having nice weather today... our usual 55-75F range. But changes are on the way with cooler temps and rain in the forecast. But now it doesn't look like it will be as cold as they predicted the other day.

Sun is shining bright but I think I'm going to stay in and move some furniture around. Wanting to move my desk to a nice sunny window for the winter!

Happy Thursday morning. A warm start to the day at 70F. There's a slight chance of rain throughout the day. There's a cold front moving through tonight bringing a better chance of rain and much colder temps. Guess I'd better enjoy this warmth before it's gone. :stew2:

Good morning! Sun is shining brightly again this morning and I should find me something to do outside and enjoy these next days of warmer temps. If nothing else but to sit on the porch! :) Cold front coming in on Sat. evening.

Good morning all. Way too warm this morning but after getting into the 70's by this afternoon the cold front comes through and the temp will drop by about 40 degrees down to the mid 30's by tomorrow morning. Cold, rainy, the 'freeze line' moving closer to us through the weekend and by Sunday we could be having rain mixed with SLEET. Come on cold front!!!!!

Guess I will walk through the gardens today and tell all my pretties goodbye till Spring. I like to thank them for the beauty and enjoyment they gave me. After Thanksgiving (and getting the all clear from my surgeon next week), I will be cutting them all back and laying more mulch on everything.
