Still raining here, we have been under a flood watch since Sat morning. But the storm is supposed to lift out of here this afternoon. All of the rivers and creeks are either bank full or out of their banks. Some of the bigger rivers are to crest at 5 to 6 ft. above flood level. I only have a small stream to worry about, but it has washed the drive out before! Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good morning all. Still warm this morning and foggy. My desktop is fixed, so I have to drive into the city today and get it. It was fixed Saturday, but there was no way I was going in the mayhem of New Orleans the day of a Saints game.

Good Morning/afternoon everyone -- Partly cloudy and 63 here this morning. A change in temps is suppose to be on the way and rain coming in later today. From reading the posts sounds like a lot of you have had some pretty terrible weather with rain, ice, snow winds -- hope you get a break soon. Have a good Monday.

BRRRRRRRRR, sunny but only 24 this morning with a wind chill of 12. We evidently got some sleet and more freezing rain overnight. My really large rain gauge has 4 inches of frozen rain in it this morning so I guess we got another .25 of an inch.
Everything has moved away now so our ice adventure is over but it may not be warm enough today to melt much, only going up to 34.
The streets and highways are iced over, sanding trucks covered the bridges and overpasses.

Amanda is supposed to have driving lesson #4 this morning, I haven't heard for sure but I would guess that they are closed today. All the schools that weren't already scheduled to be closed for the holiday are closed because of the ice. It really isn't a major ice event but then it doesn't take much for things to shut down here, we know we don't know how to drive in it so why try. :-D

Good morningn! It's not just cold here this morning. It's freezine though it was 46F in the kitchen. The thermometer in the back said 3F and in the front it was 26F. Since our ground seldom freezes our water pipes are not buried deep. Our water was just a thin stream in some faucets and not at all in others. DR has been working to get them running this morning. It is sunny and supposed to go in the 40's today. We are definitely not used to this kind of weather. Dooley

It is 30 with wind chill 21. There is light snow and when I got the paper, alight coat of ice on the vehicles. Our ice wasn't as bad as predicted, thank goodness but we got a lot of rain also. Wannabe

Good morning all. Wierd weather here. Phoenix area this AM has frozen water pipes in some areas. They are down about at 1000 ft altitude. We expect some of that here at 4200 ft. I think this cold is due to global warming. No wait, that may be confusing.

Enjoying what is probably the last day of 70°F plus days, at least for a while.
Forecast is for 63°F tomorrow morning, but only 30° by tomorrow night,
so it looks like a very sudden end to the warm spell.

Good morning all fellow Stewbies, pouring down here again in merry ole Malmö. I'll take that over wind though right now :)

Stressful day yesterday when my connection went down for a lot of the day. Turns out it was a modem-router connection issue and not the ISP. Sometimes it too easy to blame the big guys when things go awry.

    Current temps: 6 deg C / 43 deg F
Current listening to: RTE Radio 1 Ireland

    Have a great Tuesday !

Good Morning all. After three straight days of rain and a young flood we are hoping to de-mud ourselves. Glad we missed the ice. Freezing cold now-18 tonight but it will still make it easier to walk outside when it freezes. Hope all made it through the bad weather. 8)

    Good Tuesday morning all.
It's a crisp -14 deg C this morning. The kids ALMOST got out of going to school again today...the bus was 25 minutes late!
It's going to be SUNNY today (so the weatherman says) which will be a nice change. Seems the weather has gone crazy all over the world, but it's FINALLY seasonal here. I've been thinking about those of you who don't usually get this cold weather and how you are coping? And I've been thinking about your gardens too...will they recover?
Hope everyone has a good day.
