Happy Tuesday morning. A foggy start to the day with temps in the 60s and highs in the low 80s predicted. And like Dooley said... rain and freezing temps moving in a couple of days.
Gotta water the stuff in the containers, inside & out this evening.
Poor plants... they can't decide if it's summer or winter!

Good morning all. I worked in the yard for a couple of hours yesterday!!! First since sometime in June. Got the dead annuals pulled up, trimmed back the way out of control perennials...except for the Pineapple Sage with is still in full bloom...and moved a Lavender.
Will be back out there shortly, it's only in the upper 40's right now so I'll wait until it's a little warmer.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -2°C and overcast with freezing rain. I went out shopping yesterday, but wasn't successful. I couldn't find anything I was looking for, but did end up getting the stockings done. I am waiting for a few online purchases to arrive. Decorating the halls today to try to get into the spirit. Have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning. Seems like today will be a repeat of yesterday's weather. Morning fog. 65-82F. But changes are on their way... rain and cold starting tomorrow night.
Maybe with the cold weather it will start to feel like the holidays... and since I'll probably be stuck in the house over the weekend I may actually dig out the decorations.

Good morning! Well, it's morning for 4 more minutes. Warm here today but a little breezy. Maybe more clouds this afternoon and maybe rain during the night.
Put my pine garland (fake) on the front fence yesterday. Added red bows at each scallop. dr is setting up electric so I can put lights on it later this afternoon.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 6°C and overcast. All the snow has melted and everything looks dirty. Got my Christmas decorations up yesterday, today I am heading into town for some groceries. Have a great day all :)

Happy Thursday morning. Another warm foggy start to the day, but that cold front is slowly headed this way. Should be getting down to the 40s tonight. There's a slight chance of rain today, but a 60% chance tomorrow and through the weekend. Guess I'll be stuck inside for a couple of days cleaning and putting up some decorations.

Good morning all. Yesterday's temp was 80 degrees, this morning it's 34 degrees with a high forecast of 37 this afternoon. WOW what a temperature drop overnight. We have 4-5 days of highs only in the 30's and overnight low's in the 20's Plus sleet and/or freezing rain each of those days starting later this afternoon. Hope it doesn't fizzle out like last month.

Think I'll start playing my winter tunes CD and do some knitting today while watching out the front window for the pretty stuff to begin.
I can hardly move from over doing it in the yard this week so that's pretty much all I will be doing today.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -2°C and overcast. I have really been noticing the shortness of the days this week and look forward to the days getting longer again. Waiting for my cyber monday packages to be delivered today (hopefully!) and cleaning house. Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning. What a change from yesterday. This morning when I left home it was in the lower 40s. Our high for the next several days is predicted to only be around the mid50s with temps dropping down to freezing every night. And it's kinda drizzling today and will be like this throughout the weekend.
Guess it's time for decorating, baking and writing out the Christmas cards.
But first, I have to get through this work day :stew2:

Good morning! It's cold but not freezing. It's still just rain, rain, rain. It's making everything muddy again. Not supposed to be warm again for a few days. I'm sorry, Toni, but I do like 70's and 80's, t-shirt weather. I do not do cold very well. Too many creaky joints. I'll need to finish my cards today, too. Well, by Monday anyway. That's the first the post office will be open since we won't make it today.

Stay warm and dry now. Just because we don't have ice and snow doesn't mean everyone else doesn't have it. Be careful if you have to drive in it.

Good morning all. No snow but lots of ice on everything and temps not getting above 30 today and tomorrow maybe more sleet. Not sure how the trees are going to come out of this, my crepe myrtles are splayed out from the weight of the ice and the large Maple two yards down is splayed out too.

I added photos to my post from early this morning. Ice on pretty much everything ...outside Photos added

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -6°C and overcast with NW winds. Only one package came yesterday, so it looks like I wont be doing any wrapping today. Keeping my fingers crossed that my daughters snow tires arrive today. We have been waiting for a few weeks already. Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday morning. Right around 32F here this morning under gray skies and breezy. There's a 30% chance of rain. I need to go the grocery store to get some stuff to bake cakes and then I'm sure I'll be confined inside until at least Monday.
So... I'm trying to muster up the enthusiasm to drag out the Christmas decorations.

Good morning all. 17f/-8c degrees was the low at my house last night, it's now 19f/-7c degrees. Nothing melting outside here for a while. When it gets up to 34f/1c tomorrow afternoon and Monday afternoon it will only last a couple of hours each day then start dropping back into the teens. Possibility of another winter system hitting us later today with more sleet.

Can't decide if I will spend today reading or knitting....better be knitting if I want to get a couple of things made for oldest daughter for christmas.
