Today is Christmas at my sisters house. Say a prayer for us. We may need it. Hopefully though it will be quiet, peaceful and loving. I have my worries though.

Happy Friday morning. Seems like everyone took the day off from here, including me. I meant to come check the forums, but got a text asking me to help decorate the church's hall for dance tomorrow night. What I thought would be a couple hours of work turned into 8 hours and they still need the final touches added tonight. It was all fun though hanging out with the girls.... that is until I stumbbed by toe, I think it's broken. Oh well...
I THINK yesterday was a beautiful day, it was sunny and warm. Today. Overcast. It's about 45F now. I think it's still supposed to get up to the 60s. Today's plan... stay off my feet. That's gonna be hard. I need to drive to the office and get my paycheck and do about an hour's work. I still haven't visisted with my best friend yet. Good thing her Christmas present isn't perishable! :D

Good morning all. Nights are still nice and chilly but the days are slowly warming up..until Sunday when another cold front moves through. I love cold fronts!!!!!

Took oldest daughter for an MRI yesterday, she is claustrophobic so she had to take a couple of "don't give a D*** pills" and couldn't drive herself. She made it through with little to no panicking thankfully ;)

I guess undecorating is the order of the day here. Will take it slower than the decorating part, my surgically involved muscles were very sore after too much lifting and bending that time.

It's cloudy here. Not so much cold as damp. Temps into 60's but still feels cool due to clouds. May start taking some decor down. Need to get outside stuff down before it gets rained on and be too wet to store. Have a good day now, you hear!

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 0°C and overcast. Feeling a little better today, still not 100%. Making some turkey noodle soup today ... hope it's good for my aching tummy. Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday morning. It's around 48F this morning and overcast again. Hopefully the sun will break through. Not that I have anything in particular do to outside, I just don't like dreary cold days like yesterday. So... come on sunshine... I miss you! :stew2:

Good morning all. Not undecorating the house today, we are going junque-ing. Haven't been in a long time but really have to get out of the house for a few hours. Heading west to the Weatherford area along the back roads to see what we can find.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently sitting at the freezing mark and slightly breezy. It sure beats the subzero temperatures from last week! Working on the family tree last night and stumbled across the marriage record of my 4th great grandparents and was able to go back another generation! Yay! I guess this means I will be hooked to the computer today! Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. Temps are around the mid40s and should get close to 60F today since the sun is out shining brightly. You can bet I'll find something to do outside today. Heck... I may even pull weeds. :D

A cloudy mild day in the 40s F. Still no rain and beginning to see signs of drought. Had to fill the fish pond with water again for the second time since fall. Lots of migratory bird flocks hanging out in the back yard. Feel like I should be outside doing some winter clean up. :stew1:

Good Monday morning all. Currently -20°C and sunny. It was a cold dog walk this morning! 9 days into winter and I am already sick of it. It is going to be a LONG 79 days until spring! Have a great day all :)

Happy Monday morning. Yesterday was GORGEOUS with temps in the mid to upper 60s. I started off just trying to get some dollar weeds out of one bed and before you know it, two beds were completed cleaned, newspaper down and fresh mulch. Sure felt great!
Today on the other hand.... cold (42F now), windy and overcast. Yucky! I won't be outside today, that's for sure.

Good morning! Cold and windy today after a great day yesterday. Guess the old year wants to get winter over with before it moves to the new year. Cold makes my joints hurt though. Hope it doesn't take too long for spring to get here.
    Have a great day!

Got a large fern and small evergreen bush moved yesterday. The cardboard and mulch were laid for the refurbished bed. Need to get out today and see what other little things I can attend to. Am still trying to visualize the changes that need to be made. :D it's not easy for me to change what is already established. Feels like a lot more work.
