Good morning! Cold and windy here. Wind is straight out of the north right now. Windmill might just blow away if it goes any faster. We're going to the library for more books. The rest of the week is all WINTER. You know how I feel about winter.

    Have a good day.

Good Tuesday morning all. CUrrently -19°C and sunny. There is also a cold west wind blowing snow around. Well, winter has got the best of me ... I am GRUMPY! Rushing to get my daughter on the bus this morning, the wind was whipping around, and it was so cold. The dog was having trouble walking and her paws were freezing up. My face felt like it was getting frost bitten, the snow drifts were making the walking very hard, and the straw that broke this camels back was a tree branch that pulled my toque off! Stooopid rabbits are eating my shrubs, the driveway needs constant plowing, the furnace never turns off and I am tired of slugging firewood. GRRR! I want SPRING!!
There, I almost feel better now. Have a good day everyone, stay warm!

Good morning! It's icy out but not snowing. Not supposed to warm up much today. We'll be staying inside today except to fill the bird feeders. Have a great WINTER day.

Netty hope your hat is okay, maybe the tree sprite didn't like that color on you ;)

Happy Tuesday morning. It's around 28F now. It's been sleeting a little off and on overnight. And it's windy... I hate the wind. Our temps are expected to be in the mid 30s and they say there's still a slight chance for snow. The icing isn't close to what it was on Friday (yet). The majority of schools, businesses, offices, etc in this whole part of the state is closed today. The roadways they're showing on the news look pretty clear with practically no traffic.
Now tomorrow morning may be a different story... we were told that we may not need to be back to work until noon.
I appreciate the thought that they want us safe... but between winter and funerals, I've almost used up 1/2 of my vacation/sick days for the year and it's still January!

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -19°C and overcast. I'm still kind of grumpy this morning as I had another very cold dog walk this morning. BUT - this is the last day of extreme cold for us for a few days. Tomorrow we will get to -1°C and I am looking forward to that! Dentist appointment today and my youngest has 2 hours of skating tonight. I may to to the library and look for some new gardening books too. Cherylad has inspired me ... it's time to start planning this years gardens! Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. Got down to 21 deg last night and there is a scattering of frost on things outside...where it came from I have no idea since our humidity level is very low.

Should be 70 degrees by Friday then another cool down and a very slight chance of rain.

Happy Wednesday morning. Didn't have to be to work until 9:30 this morning. The roads were clear and as the ice melts off the roofs, it sounds like rain. Yea! Water!
It was 28F when I left home this morning... we should be in the upper 40s or lower 50s today. We'll be in the 70s by Friday. I can't wait!

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -12°C and sunny. The temperatures are closer to normal, but the west wind sure makes it feel much colder. Off to do some errand and shopping as we are out of food again. Have a great day all :)

Happy Thursday morning. Started my day off with 26F temps. But we should reach 60 today. 70F tomorrow. Now that's more like it!
There's also chances of rain over the weekend. That would be nice... one day... but not both please... I want to play outside!

Good morning! Cold here this morning. May go up to 60 though. I hope the rain holds off until Sunday. We have sort of made plans for Saturday. Have a good day and stay warm.

Good afternoon all. I think we have reached our high temp of 55 for today, and it's very windy, strong south wind around 22 mph with stronger gusts of around 40 mph. I have already picked up a bag of trash blowing in from other places and there is more out there now

I spent yesterday on Pinterest...I am not a member I just wander through subjects about garden, recycled junk, decor, etc...and find way too many ideas. So after working in the garden tomorrow when it's 70 degrees, I will spend the next week or so when it's cold again, going through all the pictures I have taken of my front and back gardens and begin planning the makeovers that they all so badly need.

Good Friday morning all. Currently just -4°C and snowing. After all the cold temperatures we have had I'll take it! The snow could stop anytime though.
No school today so off to get an oil change in my vehicle today, and then to look at skating dresses for my daughter. Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning. And we're back to more "proper" temps. Woke up to mid 50s and our high will be in the low 70s. There's a slight chance of rain for the next few days. Saturday is supposed to be nice, but getting cooler by Sunday and the rain chances increase. I'll take it!
