Good morning all. I'll take 72 this afternoon only because I am itching to get something...anything...done in the garden out back and because that's what I am going to be stuck with today. Sun-Tue we might have a chance of the frozen stuff like south Texas had or at least a chance of rain...we haven't even had the 'chance' of rain since mid-Dec.

Good morning! Cloudy here with areas of misty rain. Rain in forecast for today through Tuesday. 70's today and tomorrow and then 50's on Sunday and 40's on Monday and Tuesday. This skipping weather sure is hard on knees and sinuses.

    Have a good day now.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -4°C and starting to snow. Off to an hour of skating this morning and then home before the next snow storm hits this afternoon. I'm quite certain that the groundhog wont be able to get out of his den tomorrow. Have a great day all :)

Go clean off Jeep. Knew snow was coming and didn't put in garage. just enough to make it slick. Everyone is sleeping. Start cooking Links sausage-wake them up fast.

Happy Saturday morning. The temps are in the mid50s now and expected to get in the mid70s. I've got the doors and windows open. It's overcast and there is a 20% chance of rain. Normally, I'd be thrilled with that, but I really need a day outside. I'm going to finish that bed extension if I have to do it in the rain! Also going to clean out the dead stuff. The truck could use a washing.... but we have better chances of rain tomorrow and Monday... so why bother, right? :D
And to anybody else starting the year over because their January wasn't kind... happy new New Year! :sete_003:

Good morning1 Well, I guess 4:45 pm isn't morning is it? We've been out and about all day. It's been gray and cloudy and we only saw the sun once when we were headed into town this morning. Must have rained here, there are some puddles but we only had mist or drizzle every where we went. Home now. Have a good evening.

Good evening all. We have re-started the kitchen fix up that had to be put aside last fall. I have before photos and will certainly be taking after photos too. We are both really tired tonight.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -6°C and overcast. We got another blast of snow yesterday, I lost track of how much. Our groundhog predicted another 6 weeks of winter, I can't say I'm surprised. It seems quiet around here this morning. Both girls stayed at friends last night and my son got home very late and will probably sleep until noon. I'm really not sure what to do with myself! First I will finish my coffee and Stew a little :)
    Have a great day all!

Happy Sunday morning. Foggy and 65F. I thought it was going to be cooler today? Maybe a front is moving in later. Will it bring us some rain?
I finished up that bed extension yesterday, and started on clearing a fence line. The trees are right on the border of my neighbors land, just tallow trees (which no one wants in the first place). Most are dead or dying from these nasty vines growing all over them. There are lots of dead branches, limbs that are held up only by the vines. Not only does it look bad, but it's blocking some sun to my beds. So I hacked and whacked and cut and pull. Felt good to work up a sweat... but not so good on my aching back today. :stew2:
So today will be an easier day. Going to bake a cake to bring to my cousin's Super Bowl party. The church is selling ribs... so no cooking today. If the rain doesn't come, I'll start on getting some dead stuff cleaned up.

Good morning all. Very heavy overcast and 32F right now, little misty stuff falling but nothing to write home about.
ALL the wintry stuff seems to be moving from southwest to northeast WEST of me!! And there is rain moving north-east but it is way EAST of me. I just can't get a break lately, no rain since early Dec and the chances the rest of the week are weak at best. But at least the sun isn't out and shinning it's fool head off.

Okay, I don't feel good this morning. A little soreness on the left side of my throat and my sinuses are acting up so it's making me irritable. :(

Good afternoon! It's cloudy and 40 degrees and raining off and on. It's supposed to be cloudy tomorrow but no rain. Then, back to rain on Tuesday. I wish it would just rain and get it finished instead of this dibs and dabs off and on all day for a week or two. 74 yesterday and now cold again. Ugh!

Sunny day for a Sunday. Mild temps in the 50s. Love it that the sun is lifting off the horizon line. Had a little sprinkling of rain yesterday, but in need of much more. Still way behind in moisture.

Good Monday morning all. Currently -13°C and cloudy. At least there is no wind!
Tidy up around the house, and potting up some tulip bulbs I found. I figured I would put them out in the garage once they are potted up. There should still be 3 months of cold weather left. Hope they bloom! Have a great day all :)

Happy Monday morning. It's around 38F this morning and overcast. I think it's supposed to clear off some and at least get to the mid 50s. It rained practically all day yesterday, nothing heavy, just steady and light. I haven't ventured out to check the gauge, but my guess just looking at the puddles would be somewhere between one-half and one inch.
If the sun comes out, I the wet ground would make pulling up some weeds pretty easy. But first, taking my aunt to do her grocery shopping. Then I'll see what I can get into outside.

Good morning all. 30 degrees this morning, not as cold last night as earlier predicted. We got drizzle yesterday for a total of 1/8th of an inch. All the wintry stuff stayed west and north of us where schools are closed and most towns have 2-3 inches of ice and some snow. It got as close to me as 24 miles away but all I got was a piddlin' little bit of drizzle.

I think what I have is a cold in the head, Vit C, Echinacea, Iron, Elderberry syrup and Propolis/Myrrh and it should be gone in a couple of days.
