Gee, Toni, you could have had our rain for today. It rained a torrent for about 15 or 20 minutes and we got .45 inches in the rain gauge. We were coming home from town and I drove through it. I put my headlights on so I could see the road in front of me. It quit just before we got home so we didn't get wet coming into the house. It looked to be just a line about a mile or two wide going from southwest to the north east.

Toni... I'd gladly send you the rain we're due to get this evening. It already rained at the office, but here at home I can hear the thunder and dark clouds moving in from the East. Hopefully your turn will come soon... and stay awhile.

Good Friday morning all. Currently 2°C and raining. We had rain overnight and so some snow has melted and the road is a sheet of ice. No school buses today so our weekend starts early! We can watch the Olympic hockey and curling games together! Have a great day all :)

Happy Friday morning. Much cooler today... woke up to temps in the mid 40s but we should reach 70F today. Clear skies too.
I checked the rain gauge before I left home...we got just under 1/4th of an inch from those showers last night. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and warm, so I'll be playing outside all day. Watch out dead brown stuff... I'm coming to get you! :-D

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -`1°C and sunny. The wicked winds are still blowing and the snow has melted just a little bit. I am surprised there isn't a lake on my lawn from the rain and snow melt. No skating this morning as there is a hockey tournament in the arena today. Not yet sure what we are dong today. I booked my spot for the trip to Canada Blooms on March 16th ...can't wait to go! Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday morning. Temps ranging from mid40s to 70F again today. Clear blue skies. The doors and windows are open to let in some fresh air. Lots of things to do outside... pull weeds, cut off dead stuff, pick up twigs and branches. I also have a couple of sprouts that need to be up-potted. The Little Dribbler's basketball team is selling BBQ Chicken dinners. So... I don't want to get too involved and dirty since I need to go pick up mine around lunch time... so I guess I'll do the stuff that I'll stay the cleanest first. Who am I kidding... I'll be dirty in no time! :D

Good sunday morning all. Currently -7 degrees and cloudy. I think it all of Canada has been up since very early to watch the hockey game for gold in Social! Not sure whatever are doing today ... We will have to see what happens after the game! I have a feeling there will be a lot of napping LOL Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. I can't believe it's almost 11am and the fog is still very thick. If it were a work day, I'd have been really late! :D
We got a little rain overnight, haven't been outside to check the gauge, but it probably was around 1/4 inch or less. Temps are in the mid 60s and I doubt we'll get 70F. There's still a chance for rain today too.
Not sure what I'm gonna do, I guess I could still get out there and do some cleaning, but don't feel like tromping thru mud to do it. Maybe I'll pick up the twigs and branches laying all over.

Good afternoon all. 70degrees, cloudless and warm here today. Supposed to have been foggy this morning but I think it was more the weatherman who was 'foggy' than anything else. There might be storms in our area on Tuesday but since our 'area' is several hundred square miles in size I don't hold any hope for it to be on my garden.

Winter is supposed to make a short re-appearance here later this week too....that I am really looking forward to!!!

Happy Monday morning. A misty/foggy drive into work this morning. Temps ranging from mid 60s to mid70s with a slight chance of rain. I've got that itch again to go look at plants. I need a couple things from the store so I'm sure I'll take a look at the nursery section.

Good morning all. Cold front moved through yesterday so the daytime temperature will stay in the 40-50 degree range. Overcast too so that is keeping it nice and cool. Not much hope for rain any time soon, should be some this week but it will be mainly south and west. Even if there is any here it's not expected to be more than about 1/2 inch....not helping the water levels around here with that piddlin' little amount

Happy Tuesday morning. Yet another foggy commute to work. I don't remember having so many foggy days. Temps are in the low 60s and should be reaching the 70s again. And there's a 40-50% chance of rain this afternoon. Better chances tomorrow with temps getting close to freezing on Thursday morning. Which is pretty typical... especially since it's time to Rodeo in Houston and the trail riders always get cold and wet.
