Good Saturday morning all. Currently -11°C and snowing heavily. GRRR! Off to skating this morning with my daughter and then home to try to get into the woodshed. I hope the snow has stopped by then. Have a great day all :)

Good morning all. 55 deg this morning and going up to around 84 later today. Winter will make a brief appearance tomorrow through sometime Monday morning but I am not holding my breath waiting for it.

We are heading out for a road trip....Benbrook, Cresson, Granbury....three of our favorite junquing stores just happen to be in those towns, what a coincidence huh?

Have a good day and stay warm. Talk to you all tonight.

    Toni, have fun junquing!

I am waiting impatiently for the sun to come up. Bought potting soil to get the last of my mini roses into patio pots. Moved a few perennials yesterday and hope to get a few more divided and moved today. I can feel spring is on its way.

Happy Saturday morning. It's about 65 now and we should get up to near 80F today. It's overcast, so maybe not.
Lots of little things I want to do today... up-pot some things, including the mini roses too. Co-worker gave me some "roots" of a couple of her plants that need to put into the ground. I picked up a couple of packs of the fertilizer spikes for the fruit trees. Dead stuff still needs to be cleared out. And I still haven't gotten around to picking up all the branches and twigs. But that might wait since the ground is too wet to to drive the mower & cart all over. But first... have to take my aunt into town to do her shopping. And today would have been my Mom's 93rd birthday... so I need to go by the cemetery and replace the flowers.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -16°C and overcast. The winds blew all night and the driveway has filled in with snow AGAIN. Enoying my coffee and then some work to do around the house before my 'skate date' at 2pm. Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. A warm overcast morning here with temps near 70F already. But hold on to your hats... big bad rain storm headed this way tonight followed by 3-4 days of near freezing temps. :'(
I have a few things I want to take care of outside, but I promised myself that I would not set foot out of the house until it was clean. Need to change the filter in the aquarium. Water the indoor plants. Finish the laundry and the finale... sweep, mop & vacuum. which always seems so pointless because I'm just gonna be tracking in grass, leaves & dirt/mud later on!

Good morning! It started off 73 degrees. It's now down to 50 degrees and raining. Going down to low 30's by the evening. Have all my house chores done and chicken in the Nesco Roaster with potatoes and carrots. Rest time now! Going to work the New York Times crossword puzzle. Well, I'm going to put a few answers in it.

Good early afternoon all. Our temp yesterday was 84, it started dropping during the night when the cold front sauntered in and is down to 28 at noon. Should continue down to around 18 by tomorrow morning. We do have freezing rain mixed with some sleet but not much yet but it is coming down heavier now and has suddednly dropped to 25, might be about 1/2 inch before it ends sometime tonight.

Just put out the birds favorite winter treat, mixed peanut butter with a bag of mixed bird seeds and they love it. Also put out more in the shell peanuts for the Blue Jays aka The Boss Birds.

Cool and rainy today. The north sound is getting some snow. Wish I had another day to relax and work around the house. Lots I could do, but will relax and tackle the monthly bills. Back to work tomorrow.

Good Monday morning all. Currently -24°C with a wind chill of -30°C. I had hoped that March would be warmer, but so far it is just as cold if not colder. We got more snow over the weekend and our driveway situation is horrible... any winds and we are snowed in quickly. This winter is just testing our every last nerve! On the bright side, the daylight is getting noticeably longer, and that means spring MUST be around the corner! Housework today, have a great day all :)

Good Afternoon! My car was thick with ice this morning when I left for work but then the sun came out again. It's lovely to have some proper daylight for a change!

Good morning! Well, it's good if you like living in a deep freeze. I think the whole of the country must be wet and icy and cold this morning. It's only 24 now with a wind chill of near 10 degrees. This is Texas. It's supposed to be warming up to summer temps by now.
    Have a good warm day!

Good morning all. I am enjoying the view from the front window while I can, as soon as the sun hits the front yard all the pretty snow will be gone. The temp has gone up a couple degrees in the last few minutes...18f/-7c but we will probably just barely make it to the freezing mark this afternoon. Oh, well I enjoyed my additional day of winter but am still not ready for the heat of summer
