Happy Friday morning. Had a light frost this morning. How'd that happen when the temps barely dipped into the 30s? Oh well... it's nice and sunny and we might reach 70F today.
I'm really looking forward to tomorrow morning, found out the garden club in town is having their plant sale! Hope I find some good stuff.

Good morning all. Another overcast and chilly day, I don't mind winter hanging around a little longer cause I know what summer has in store for us.

I found some of the Valentine Mix Tulips sticking their heads above ground the other day....Tulips just don't usually come back after one of our typical winters so they must have liked the cold temps we have had....now I just hope they actually bloom.

Good day all. Sunny but very windy. Did manage to get up to 37 F. That was an unexpected treat.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -2°C and overcast. I am exhausted! My son broke his arm snowboarding yesterday and we didn't get home from the hospital until 2am. The dog didn't care ... she still woke me at 6am to go outside. My daughter has skating at 9 so there seemed little point in trying to get more sleep. I hope I can nap later. Have a good day all.

Sorry to hear about your son's broken arm, hopefully it isn't is dominant one

Overcast and cool this morning, rain in the north Texas area but it's all north of me again. I would have slept later this morning but the lawn mowing service next door uses was out with smelly, noisy machines and loud voices speaking in another language at 8:15 a.m. Not happy since I stayed up until after 3 a.m. watching yet another BBC TV show I have become addicted to thanks to Netflix.....Waking the Dead...really good.

Happy Saturday evening. I started my day by going to a plant sale in town. Big disappointment.
The weather was okay today... no sunshine... but no rain either with a high of almost 70F. I got more clean up done and now it's time to kick back and try to make myself go to bed early so this stupid time change doesn't affect me too much tomorrow.

Good Sunday morning all. CUrrently -9°C and sunny. Well, I just wrapped my sons cast in plastic so he could have a shower. I do hope it holds! Should be an interesting 6 weeks with the cast to say the least! Thanks Toni, luckily he broke the arm that isn't dominant.
We are off for a family birthday celebration today. I am sure the broken arm will be the talk of the day. Have a great day all :)

Happy Sunday morning. And a dreary looking one at that. It rained a little overnight and it's still overcast and breezy. Temps are in the low 50s and we might see the mid 60s. Good day to get the laundry and house cleaning done. Glad I got the mowing done yesterday and it would really have been too wet to try it today.

Rained most of last night but only had .65 inches in rain gauge. Gray and dreary today. Made some apple tarts and squash bread today so was in the kitchen a lot of the day. Had chicken soup with spatzle in it for supper. Now, I can take it easy the rest of the evening.

Good Monday morning all. Currently -6°C and overcast. We got a light dusting of snow last night, just enough to make my dog walk slippery. Not sure what we are doing today ... my son says that hitting bumps on the road hurts his arm. It's going to be a LONG March break! Have a great day all :)

Happy Monday morning. I hate this dang time change. Specifically... I hate getting out of bed while it's dark and I don't like driving to work in the dark either... well half of it anyhow. Hopefully the mornings will be brighter soon. It didn't help that it was foggy out also. Temps from upper40s to mid70s today with a slight chance of rain.

Good morning all. Sunny and dry (what else would it be here) should get into the mid 60's. I have been neglecting housework of late....nothing new about that thought....except that now it has caught up with me so my day is filled with icky things.

Anyone else watch the new version of Cosmos last night. Neal DeGrasse Tyson did a good job and has so much more information nowadays than Carl Sagan had when he wrote the book and did the first series. We are really looking forward to each new episode.

Good afternoon! It's a beautiful day. Sun is shining. It's in the 70's. We went and sat on the back deck. Maybe it was a mistake. I sat looking at the yard and garden and went and got my gloves and the rake. Now, why after a long winter couldn't I just sit and enjoy the nice day. It's going to rain tomorrow.
