Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -2°C and cloudy. I just heard we will be getting snow again tomorrow ... anywhere between 10-35cm of fresh white stuff. There is still at least 18 inches here so I think it's going to be a very long time before I can do any gardening! Have a great day all :)

Happy Tuesday morning. Gonna be a bit warmer today with highs in the mid70s and only a slight chance of rain. Think I'll go buy a couple bags of soil to get ready for my cantaloupes. The area I want to plant them is too low so it needs built up and some nutrients added.

Good morning! It was cool and foggy here this morning. Not cold, just cool, 50's. It's supposed to hit 78 degrees today but there's no sun as yet. It is getting warmer though. No plans for the rest of the day.

Happy Wednesday morning. A little cooler today and breezy. Temps should reach the mid 70s today. Yesterday got down-right hot... too bad I wasn't able to spend much time outdoors to enjoy it.

Good morning all. What a difference 24 hours makes, yesterday it was almost 60 at this time of the morning and today it's 45 but feels like 36 with the strong north wind. The high yesterday was 84, today it might reach 60.

Still SUNNY and DRY but at least it's cold and windy. Not an even trade off but it's the best we get around here lately.

Oncologist visit this morning. The head vampire usually draws 8-10 vials of blood and I get back a two page report that needs to be translated. But the doctor is really nice....and so is vampira, even when she sticks the gigantic needle into my arm. ;)

Good morning everyone. The weather people are ecstatic, a winter storm will dump a few more inches of snow on the retreating amount remaining on the ground. They get to lead the newscast with morsels of weather talk like "With up to a foot possible in some areas, stay with us and find out how much snow will be dumped in your area". Groan They won't give up. :-(

Good evening! It was sunny and it said 59 degrees but it was very windy. Nearly blew me off the road a couple of times. Spent the day shopping here and there. Now to get things put away. Some will just wait for tomorrow.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -20°C and sunny with strong north winds. I have to take my son to a follow up appointment at the fracture clinic today. The hospital we have to go to I am not at all familiar with and is over an hour away. I am going to insist that they refer us to a closer hospital if we need another appointment. Parking is going to cost me $17 and who knows how long we will have to wait for our appointment. I'll be so glad when this is all over! Have a great day all :)

Happy Thursday morning. It got down to the upper 30s overnight, but thankfully no frost. I'm hoping this is our last cold snap. I brought in the young plants I just bought and put the cover down on the "winter house".... just in case. I felt bad, but I had to make the dog sleep outside last night... she found something dead to roll around in and stinks to high heaven! Can't even get close to her without gagging. Phew!!!
Hope it's better when I get home. I'll be heading to Tucson in the morning to see friends I haven't seen in over 15 years. I'm so excited!

Snow, snow, and more snow. This has been quite a storm. We got somewhere around 40 cm along with rain, freezing rain and ice pellets. Looking at the weather forecast it says no let up until sometime during the night time hours. (sigh). I am so ready for spring, no make that summer! Worked my garden plans out on paper this afternoon. It was better than watching the snow come down.
