Good Thursday morning all! Currently 5°C and overcast. I think Cherylad's winds are here too. It was a lovely day yesterday, and I was able to get some lawn raked and 2 small gardens edged. It sure was nice to be back out in the garden! Off to do my errands and shopping, I hope there is enough time left to do more gardening later :)

Happy Thursday morning. Looks like it's going to be a gorgeous day. Clear skies and temps from low 60s to low 80s. Sure would be a good day to be out in the garden. sigh

Good morning all. I spent a really pretty day out in the front garden, getting the Herb bed cleaned out and putting in some new plants....up and down and up and down and today my legs and back are very achy. Gonna spend today inside searching for more long ago relatives.

Happy Friday morning. Going to be another beautiful day here. Too bad I'm stuck in the office all day. But I think I know how to make myself feel better... go visit one of the nurseries at lunchtime! :stew2:

Good morning! How did it get to be Friday already? I've been keeping busy outside every day this week except for Tuesday when it was very windy. This morning I got the geraniums into the large pots by the back gate and put petunias in the bed by the back steps. Still have those Josephs Coat climbing roses to plant. Problem is where to plant them. It won't work where I thought I'd put them. Not enough room!

Good afternoon all. Only 73 outside but the humidity is 73% so it feels at least 15 degrees warmer and almost no clouds in the sky. Got some privacy fencing put up out back along the alley chain link fence and that's it for outside work today.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 7°C and sunny. I had a great day yesterday! First I got the leaky tire fixed on my car (turns out it had a screw in it), then I went to the car wash (to wash all the salt off) and then vaccuumed the car out and cleaned the windows. That left the entire afternoon to play in my gardens :D I managed to get the 3 biggest beds cleaned out and edged. I dug up 12 toads while doing this, but I think they are all OK. Nice to know I have so many bug eaters in the yard! Another great day ahead so I hope to get the rest done. Have a great day all :)

Happy Saturday morning. It's overcast this morning but warm at almost 65F. I thought it was supposed to be sunny today? Oh well... I won't get much time to play in the garden today because one of my cousins is having his retirement party this afternoon and I'm going a little early to help get everything set up.
So, I'd better get out there and get these new babies in the ground and do some repotting and up-potting.

Good morning all. Overcast today and will probably be that way more than sunny and going into the mid-80's. Tomorrow should be really interesting as the weather today will warm up and continue through tomorrow bringing typical Spring weather....potential for large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes. Ahhh, Spring.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 6°C and overcast. We had some rain overnight.
A sad start to my morning today ... was leaving for my morning dog walk when something large on my hydro pole caught my eye. It was a dead (electrocuted) owl, it's foot caught on something. I guess I will have to call the electric company to get it down. :( Having my morning coffee now, deciding what to do with the rest of my day. Have a good one all :)

We are at 52 degrees and it's 9 AM Sunday.

We have over 21 plants and trees in our car waiting to be unloaded. We will replace those few trees that we lost from this last freezing Winter.

Poor hubby will be 'a dugging' all day. Again, we have more rock than dirt on our property.

Will post more about this later on a new thread.

Happy Sunday morning. Overcast and 70F right now. Rain chances later on. Hope it stays away until evening time. Have to take my aunt shopping this morning and then come home and try to get all the mowing, etc done. Tomorrow is supposed to be a total rain-out, so I doubt I'll have the chance to do anything then.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 12°C and overcast. We had a thunderstorm last night, but tomorrow weatherman calls for cold and snow. Yesterday's Owl blew down from the hydro pole on its own. This was the first time I have seen one up close. We ID'd it as a Great Horned Owl, apparently very common in this area. I'm sad to lose such a wonderful bird of prey, and hope there are more around. DH says he has seen a barn owl around so I hope it continues to hunt mouse/rat/rabbit. House work today, and some baking. Have a great day all :)
