Since this is my second January in Sweden Jan and the first time it didn't happen I'd have to guess it is not normal. In fact just about everything is different to the first time, there would definitely have been snow by now.

Good Saturday morning all. A very chilly morning here in Ontario...currently sitting at -17 deg C and very windy. It is sunny so that helps. Not sure what I will do today, it's too cold to do anything outdoors. A predict a lazy day ahead.
I hope the storm passes quickly Frank.
    Have a great day all!

Good morning or not so good morning. It is snowing and it snowed all night. There is two or three inches but it's a heavy wet snow. It's 34F right now so maybe when it warms up a bit it will melt. I may be a bit late for work as I will have to take it slow. Oatmeal and fruit bread for breakfast this morning. Big cup of tea. It's 60 in the house this morning as we really got it warm in here yesterday with the stove and oven both going. I should go find my boots to wear this morning. DR will get a picture as soon as it's light enough. I would gladly give it away if anyone would like it. I was not envious of anyone's snow. Dooley

Good morning all. It rained almost all day yesterday, last night and is still raining.
Day 10 without the sun, it tried to peek thru for a couple of minutes yesterday afternoon but the clouds realized they had thinned out too much in one location and moved in quickly to close the sun's possible escape route.

Grandsons are coming over tonight so Mom and Dad can have a date night....come to think of it, Lisa never did say anything about what time the boys needed to be home tomorrow. Maybe I should have specified that this was a one night only appearance. :-D

Hi everyone, it's bright but chilly here today, with breezes from the north.
Freezing temps are forecast for tonight. :(
If the offshore wind abates, we might get lucky, as
the ocean temperature is still 54°F which could really help.

Yesterday was very long, and I missed my fix of Stew, it feels wonderful to get back today.

Hang onto your hat, Frank  , I do hope that the weather is not too fierce.

A very good aftermorning Stewbies, can't believe we are almost into February already! A chilly slightly rainy day here in Malmö. No real bad weather last night thankfully, there was some flooding and winds in other areas but nothing on a par with the UK's weather for example.

    Current temps: 4 deg C / 40 deg F
Current listening to: The sound of passing cars

    Have a great Sunday!

Good morning all. Well above freezing and heading into the 50's today, sun is out :'( I miss the clouds, but they will return tomorrow.

Richard, I love the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's version of House on Pooh Corner. When Amanda was little, I had the cassette with that and Battle of New Orleans on it. We would sing the 'Pooh' song with them then march around the livingroom to the '1814' song at least once a day.

Good Morning all. Ten o'clock already and not even dressed. Blame it on the rain. If it will just let up I think we will take a walk. Sick of being inside. :(

Ursula, our greyhound, must have been a 'mudder' when she raced. She loves to run in the back yard through the mud and puddles. She comes to the patio door and patiently waits to be toweled down. Occasionally I leave the LR door open and she blazes through it, mud, leaves, water and all. Good thing the carpet is mud colored.
