    Hello everyone

We had a cool day today 15 to 23 degrees celsius.
I am happy - I went to Newlands Cricket grounds and watched our team win the match against New Zealand - incidently, we won the series today. 8)

Now I am here at home felling quite lazy, but not lazy enough for a surf in the Stew. Besides surfing for a recipe to make a quick supper would not be half bad.

    Hi there

Sorry about only coming on line now, But I have my mostest, favorite, loveliest, only son with me for at least a week. I am a happy woman. :-D

By the way it was a lovely day here and I did not do a stitch of work. It is only now when we are supposed to settle down for the night that I can say hello.

Palm Tree, glad to hear your son is there for such a nice long visit. Don't worry about us, just enjoy him.

Good evening all, we've had a rather nice day today. Some fog around the shopping malls, and no rain before 16.00. I've done the last of my Christmas shopping, and all that's left now is to decorate, bake and enjoy ourselves.

    Temps are 4 deg C - 39 deg F.

    Just saying Hi everybody.

Not a lot of time to Stew, but I need my dose - we will be baking cookies tomorrow - my boy and I, "He wants to work on his culinary skills" - I could grow to love this new turn of events. I like having company in the kitchen.

Temperature was 15 to 27 degrees Celsius today, and everyday seems to be a day that we spend in the yard and in the pool.

Good evening, and it is indeed a good evening. Mimi and I went to a dinner dance, and we dined and danced. The band, if you can call it that, there were two of them, played the 50's and 60's music, and it was like way back then. The same music we danced to in high school. And, as a matter of fact, my old high school principle, is a neighbor, and he was there, but thank the stars, he wasn't chaperoning this time, but dancing with us. What a good time. Like Frank Sinatra sang, "I saw a man, he danced with his wife" and this isn't even Chicago, and I danced with my wife, and some others too. Hooray for the Fish & Game club for sponsoring this great evening.

Good Evening all. We had a rainy and cold day, the temp has been dropping all day, down to 36 at sunset.
Did a little shopping this afternoon, put some potted plants in the bloom house where they can bask in the warmth of the light Randy put in there for me.

There is a pot of homemade New England Clam Chowder on the stove and maybe some holiday movies this evening on the agenda. Just snuggling in for a rainy cold night.

Hope everyong has a good evening and night.

    Hello everyone

Missed out on yesterday, but too much to do, too little time.

It was a nice, cool day, no rain however.

Hope everybody enjoyed their day and stay warm.

Wow, we into evening already? Snowed again yesterday but it's mostly melted now. I'm stying to work out when/how to get our tree, since DH is working out of town cleaning up from the flooding. DS is kinda keen on it, but in the throes of finals. Think I'll go rattle his cage a bit, though, I wanna tree!!

Good evening all, it's been a busy day! We've got +8 deg C - 46 deg F and not a drop of rain, for which I'm very thankful.

We've been driving 140 km - 87 miles - and taking two ferries today, to decorate the graves of my grandparents and great-grandparents on my mother's side. It took five hours, the stay at the graveyard was half an hour. The roads are, well, made to keep a driver alert, shall we say?

    Now it's wind-down-time.

    Merry Christmas all!
It was a very busy day and I'm finally sitting down to relax a little. The kids had me up at 6 am and I didn't have a good nights sleep so I'll sleep like a baby tonight.
I hope everyone got their Christmas wishes :)

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I had a very good day with family over for Opening Christmas this morning, then back again for lunch. I think everyone received what they wanted here. It turned out to be a very good day.
