Your harvest looks good! I imagine the taste of the fresh produce is so much better than the ones we can buy in the shops.
Thank you Sjoerd and your are right , they were harvested in less than 30 minutes when they were photographed. They were then eaten within 8 hours I think . From what I understand according to the farm-to-table concept “Most produce loses its nutrients within 24 hours of harvesting.” I guess I'm lucky to be able to do so Thanks Cayuga Morning, glad you enjoy it. You are right Droopy Thank you. I guess it must be the short time frame from harvesting and to the table when it is still full of nutrients.
Today's harvest for today's lunch and dinner. The pak choy is the last in the list for this bed. I am not able to continue planting because we will be away for awhile for Christmas and this bed of veggies will last us till almost then Pak Choy I think is in the same family as nappa cabbage with narrower stems and loose leaves and tasted better in our opinion. It is our favourite be it stir fried, in a soup or just salad ... it's yummy!
Congrats on a great harvest KK! We love Pac Choy, the few seeds I put in a few months ago were eaten up by sparrows. Should have been quicker with the netting.
