Everyone in our family is right handed, except my oldest brother. We grew up in a small rural town on a major state highway. Every summer a caravan of gypsies came through. The would sell handmade small tables and I am sure lots of other things I can't remember. My oldest brother happened to be eating one day when they stopped in to see if Mom wanted to buy anything. An old gypsy woman asked Mom if she wanted my brother to be able to use his right hand. Mom said sure. The gypsy took the spoon from my brothers left hand, put it in his right hand, said some words, and he never used his left hand again.
